A surgeons knot works best for me plus glue. Easy to thread most large drilled beads.

I make car freshies and there are perfect for them. Highly recommend them.

The string is good but it’s so think that most of my beads won’t fit on it. I didn’t realize when I ordered that .08 is for large hole beads

I made kandi with this cord for EDC. Most of the times it held up, but more than a few times my kandi would snap and break when trading with other people, it was pretty sad. It didn't break at the knot, it was in the middle of the bracelet. It's not super stretchy cord, so make note of that. Otherwise, it's a lot of cord for a good price.

Very thin. Not recommended for masks. I bought it by accident not realizing how thin it is. It seems like a good product though. I’m not quite sure what I’m going to use it for though.

USED THIS TO TIGHTEN THE COLLAR ON A SWEATER.

My friend has a sewing ministry and I help her out by making salvation bracelets to go with the hygiene kits and clothes she makes for various mission trips. We've tried several different elastic cords and most of them were horrible. This is the first set that works without getting frayed on the ends. I absolutely love it. Each roll makes around 300 bracelets so with the two packs, I get a total of 600 bracelets. Totally worth it for the price.

Cannot comment on longevity of the product, but as this type of cord is covered with thread it tends to fray, and as it is very thick it will only thread through the largest beads/bore holes (admittedly the thickness is stated so can't complain about that as such). I did not anticipate this problem, hence the review, to make others aware. The fraying can be remedied somewhat with a lighter, but the soft and thick nature of this cord still makes it pretty much impossible to get through many beads. Sometimes it goes through most beads of one size, and then towards the end of a bracelet there are 2 or 3 it totally refuses to go through, despite much trying and teasing - wasted a lot of time with this! If you want to work with beads of 6mm diameter or less, this elastic cord is not really suitable. Transparent colour cord would also be more unobtrusive and versatile. I ordered this as I was worried the thinner transparent plasticky cords would not be strong and durable enough, but this is all but ueless for more delicate necklaces and bracelets.
