Compact, Stylish, and Reliable Toaster – Great for Daily Use
I really like this Nostalgia MyMini Single Slice Toaster — we’ve been using it almost every day for breakfast. It has a sleek, elegant design and is lightweight, easy to clean, and seems durable for the price. The slot size is good for both bread and bagels, and it toasts well. The temperature control is decent and does the job for a toaster in this price range. Overall, it works great and offers good value.Durable, Definitely recommend it!

Takes up very little counter space, and is cute
I got this in 2023 and it's still working. Mom makes toast between 1-6 times a week and it is perfect for the low-usage, low-space purposes that we have.

A nice little single slice toaster.
The media could not be loaded. I wanted a small, single slice toaster for my craftroom and the price point on this little baby fit the bill. Toasts just fine but be aware that it gets hot really quick. I ended up burning my first 2 pieces at only half a turn of the dial. Cleanup is a breeze though, with the opening slot there on the bottom, and I do love the color. I will update this review if/when it stops working or if it gives me any issues, because I don't expect too terribly much from a $10 toaster! So far so good though. The dimensions are 8.5×6 and it comes with a user manual. The only thing I wish is that the toaster was just a bit deeper to fully toast the top of the bread... But again, for the pricepoint, this item exceeds my expectations.

Great Product!!
I love everything about this toaster. It’s cute, has a small footprint for my new little apartment and does it’s job well. It toasts evenly and fast. I use those little silicone reusable toaster bags to make grilled chess and every kind of sandwich I want, without making a mess and heating up the stove or oven. (I made a turkey and cheese sandwich last night). “Grilled”to perfection. Sandwiches come out like panini’s. Very great price and a high value product!!

Very small, cute, works well for one slice at a time
When searching for a small 1-slice toaster the My Mini oddly did not show up at first. The Bella slim 2-slice showed instead so I bought that. (It's slim although long, and I rated it 5 stars.) I finally found this one and bought it, and I also rate it 5 stars. Both are simple, no frill toasters that work well so far. This little My Mini is a great little toaster that takes up very little counter space and stores easily. It would be well suited for travel or where space is very limited if toasting one slice at a time is sufficient. It doesn't look quite as much like a toy as I had thought it might! One-slice toasters are hard to find so I'm going to keep both. I'll save one of them for use later.I'll compare these two space saving toasters because the Bella is what my "small one-slice toaster" search returned (??), and it was noted as the #1 best seller in toasters. I did an earlier review on it before I found the My Mini.*Color:Both the Bella pale neutral oatmilk and the Mini aqua (almost Tiffany) are pretty colors imo. Bella is all one color; Mini has white controls. The product page photos of both were accurate on my laptop screen.*Color choices:The Bella has several and they conveniently show up as options on the same product page. I could only find red and aqua for the Mini, and they have separate product pages that were harder to find. (I had to go to the Nostalgia "store" on the red one's page to even find the aqua. It didn't show up at all in a product search.)*Plastic:Both have plastic exteriors. Bella has a more matte or satin finish; the Mini is shiny. Imo the Bella looks a little more high end but the build quality appears to be about the same for both.*Cords:Both are short; the Bella's is slightly longer and also comes out the back of the toaster (the end that is opposite of the controls). It can wrap and store under the bottom. The Mini's cord (about 2 ft.) is near the front and has to be routed underneath the toaster if you want it at the back (or the end opposite the controls), which takes up a little of the length. Bella's is black; Mini's is white. Both have standard 2-prong plugs.*Wattage:Bella 900 watts; Mini 500 watts. This might be important in places where appliances must have only low wattage. For a small kitchen appliance that heats, both are fairly low wattage.*Size:The Mini is significantly smaller. The widths are almost the same and the Mini is significantly smaller otherwise. See product page dimensions and photos below.*Crumb tray:Bella's slides out and is removable. Mini's swings down and is attached at one end (not removable although the description said it is). Bella's is a little bit easier imo but neither is difficult to clean.*Settings::The Bella has a numbered control knob, 1-6. The Mini doesn't and only has a "swish" so you have to somewhat guess where your setting is. Both work, but the Bella is easier to find a particular setting you've used before. The settings on each go from very light to what might turn out to be almost charcoal, judging by my two. I've only used the middle settings on the Mini or #3 and #4 on the Bella. See photo of toasts.*Cancel feature or ability to cancel:Both can be canceled and the toast will pop up. The Bella has an obvious Cancel button. The Mini does not, but I discovered by accident that if you turn the settings knob counter-clockwise all the way off, it cancels and pops the toast up. The booklet and description didn't mention this but it works.*Lift feature:Both levers will raise the toast a bit higher to make it easier to remove, the Bella maybe a tiny bit more.*Bagel feature (for toasting only one side of bread):Neither has one, although the Mini's book mentions one. ?? (The Mini booklet also says it will toast two halves of a bagel, but it must mean if they are back to back, because the slot isn't long enough to place them side by side. I had no bagels to test this, but it doesn't "look" wide enough for that.) The Bella is long enough to toast both halves side by side.*Capacity of bread slot:The Bella can hold 2 standard size slices (or English muffin or bagel halves, etc.) or a long slice from an artisan or sourdough. The Mini only holds 1 standard size slice, etc. They both appear to be able to hold about the same thickness of bread, but I couldn't test that because I had no thick bread or bagels.*Inner workings:Both are metal inside and appear almost identical except for the length of the opening.*Prep before using:The Bella booklet says to run an empty cycle to burn off any manufacturing residue. The Mini booklet says do not use without bread in it. I ran a couple of highest setting empty cycles anyway, a few minutes apart so the sides wouldn't get hot, with no problems. Both had minimum odor during the empty cycles.*Outer temperature:The sides of both toasters only got a little warm, not hot, using setting #3 or medium. If a half dozen cycles on the highest setting were run with no pauses between, could they get hot enough to warp or melt the sides? Maybe, but who would do that? They've been fine with normal use.*Toasting results:Both did a good job and toasted evenly enough on both sides in just a couple of minutes. See photo of standard whole wheat bread slices toasted the same amount of time in each, on approximately setting 3 on each. Mini on left, Bella on right.*Cost:Both were inexpensive in 2025; the Bella about $25 and the Mini about $18, both with free Prime shipping and free Amazon 30-day return policy. They work well and seem a good value (so far).*Manufacturer's warranty:Bella 2-year, Mini 1-year. For such low cost items it might be more trouble than it's worth, but they do have warranties. Both made in China. Both can be returned to Amazon within 30 days of purchase for free.*Packaging:Both included a booklet and were packaged in the manufacturer's box, appropriate for gifting. I requested additional Amazon packaging (to lessen the chance of shipping damage) and the toaster boxes were shipped in outer Amazon packaging. Both arrived with no damage.I can't rate durability yet for either, but no complaints so far. Neither have bells and whistles but both produce similar evenly browned toast.

Very poor quality; doesn’t work
This is a cute toaster, but don’t buy it!I have had 2 of these toasters. The first one worked for a couple of months, then the mechanism for keeping the bread inside the toaster so it could toast stopped working.I bought another one. It arrived broken with the same problem. The bread would not remain inside the toaster. I could not use it even one time. This is not worth the money!Very disappointing!
