Good quality, convenient size stainless steel pot. I use it regularly on stove and campfire. The lid clips are a good idea and help avoid the accidental 'knocking off' of the lid when removing it from fire. Good size for cooking meal (ie stew) for 2 or 3 people. Handles are sturdy and well fitting, good quality steel. What I would expect from Fire Maple products. This pot will provide many years of good service. Would recommend.

Perfect pot for many uses. Ideal also for boiling water and pouring. Just about the correct size and capacity for camping.Expensive - but I like it.

This is a good quality stainless steel pot. Perfect size for cooking food, boiling water, cooking freeze dried meals. It has a handle for hanging above a fire and handles to hold it, neither of which get too hot during cooking if you ensure the handles don't touch the pot. Lid fastens tightly as well. I think it will last years.It comes with a little steamer pot, which I love and would use a lot. However the steamer pot has no handle and is a tight fit so you can only remove it with your fingers when cold. So it's impossible to check the status of any food cooking underneath until the pot cools down enough to get the steamer out.If only the pot steamer had a handle then it would get full marks.

Great product nice finish and well packaged. It works well tried at home and garden today with induction hob, spirit burner and gas no problem whatsoever. I always like the finish and attention to detail on Fire Maple products. Easy to use and easy and quick to clean thank you.

I like the well built pot. Can hang it over camp fire. It has handles on the side for pouring and the lid clips on for safety. There is a steamer inside if you want to steam prawns or crayfish, I guess. The quality is good for the money. it cleans well. Its good buy for the money. It's more bushcraft than lightweight.

I have been looking for a reliable and sturdy cook pot for a while to add to my 'go bag'. After looking at various products, social media videos and reviews I decided upon this, the Fire Maple 1.2l camping pot, it seemed to tick all the boxes for my needs and had really good reviews, more expensive than competitors but I wanted a quality product.When it arrived I was really disappointed in its quality of finish, one of the locking latches which locks the lid into place was fabricated so poorly that it was twisted and didn't lock onto the rim effectively, the 'fire maple' logo etching was also so skewed indicating a manufacturing fault, also, according to their own product video, the latches also lock onto the handle, which non of the latches do, there is clearance between the latches handle location groove and the handle itself, so if their product video is correct, again as sign of poor manufacture and lack of QC or inspection. As the latches are designed to lock the lid, as per their product description, it could also be a safety issue for the user.I will return the item for a refund, but it's disappointing when you are paying the extra for a better designed, quality and reliable product, from a brand that you believe offers this, only to be let down by its poor quality control. I have seen many customers who have been happy with this pot, rated highly and seem very satisfied, so i can only assume I have been unlucky to receive one that doesn't reflect their usual quality, which is a shame, because the pot does appear to have the potential to be a great all round cooking companion that would last many many years of service.
