‘Big Type’ explores graphic design and identity work where the emphasis is on typography..‘Big Type’ explores graphic design and identity work where the emphasis is on typography. The visual landscape in which today’s designers are contributing to is very cluttered and the digital world alone is so vast, that sometimes it feels hard to make your voice heard amongst all the noise. The work on show within this book examines how designers can produce work that stands out and cuts through the noise. It showcases a fascinating direction in graphic design, forged by a collision of technology, typography and trends which is creating new and exciting results. This book is available in blue, green of grey; books are shipped to customers at random. Review: AMAZING - Perfect color, I’m so in love. I have never seen a print with these colors on the cover! Internal content is very worthwile, I love them Review: Just your type - A worthwhile look at how contemporary designers handle type and solve the problem of how to make their designs stand out. What I found interesting about the contents is the wide range of material, obviously actual printed matter, like magazines and books but also packaging, cans, bottles, candy packs and boxes, street posters and outside display material (quite a lot of this) trademarks and how they are used commercially. As the title of the book suggests, most of the pages show examples of typography rather than type used with illustrations and photography and this is why the work stands out, it's rather unusual for commercial art to solve a design concept just using type. The book is an obvious buy for design colleges and design companies. You can look inside the book at Westread Book Reviews, then click 2025 and July.
