Quality Bullet Antenna.
Love the fact that this company has color optionsThe black and gold bullet that a million people have on their trucks is not what I wanted. This is the only company on Amazon I found that had one to match my custom 01 Silverado.

Doesn’t work
Picked out the right screw for my truck installed it and it picked up two stations. Waste of money and the the signal strength was terrible.

Works and looks good.
Hubby and I decided to get the Avalanche washed while we were out and went through the local drive-through car wash but forgot to take off the antenna. As we were going through, the overhead brush grabbed it and turn it into a broken pig's tail. It looked bad! We got this one and replaced it. Radio comes in clear, with great reception. Fit was perfect and it was easy to install. it looks great and with the shorter profile, we will have no more problems going through the car wash. Win, Win.

It does antenna things... sometimes.
Well, It does antenna things, and by that I mean that it will allow your radio to pick up radio stations. Without the height however, the signal reception range is slightly limited. On a hilly country road out in the sticks, it tended to lose signal in the dips, but quickly recovered as we went back up the hill. Strangely, I was able to get both AM and FM stations way out in the countryside. As I approached a certain major metro area, I wasn't able to receive any local stations at all. Only static was heard. If you live in the country, this may work for you. If you live in a city, this may not be as useful.
