Separate a pound of bacon in a flat container and douche it with this liquid overnight in the fridge. I then use a vacuum sealer to seal 3 or 4 strips and freeze them together, sealed. When I want bacon, I just grab a sealed and frozen package, let it thaw in cool water... did I say, IN COOL WATER? or thaw it at room temperature, then cook the Apple bacon. Sometimes I'll put seasoned pepper in as well when I douche the bacon....
