Great jacket for fashion and work.
For work, fashion, or just something to wear out when it's cold, this jacket is great. In some of the pictures, it doesn't show the inside, but it is quilted, keeping it warm. It has a cropped boxy look, which is good for proportions. The zipper never gets stuck and smoothly goes up. The size, comfort, and lining of this jacket are great for the price of $50, and you won't be able to get a jacket of this quality for this cheap anywhere else, besides maybe a thrift store. One thing I will mention, though, is that you might find it a bit puffy, but it will slowly have that perfect fit that you are looking for after wear and tear.

Solid work jacket
I really like it. I’m 5’ 10” 150, got a medium, love the fit. It’s a work jacket, it’s boxy. But it settles down a bit once you start wearing it. Not a short crop, but not a long, modern either. Sleeves are big but the length fit me great, love that it has the action back. Canvas isn’t quite on par with say, my Carhartt, but it’s solid and I have zero concerns about its durability. Also, the blue is a nice color and I like it with the black corduroy . I like this lining just fine. As other have mentioned, it has access zippers for embroidery work. I DO wish the chest pocket was on the left side. Overall, I’d buy this jacket again in a heartbeat. It is not a vintage Detroit, but it is an excellent jacket.

Superb jacket like Carhartt or Dickies
As some have said, this may be one of the heirs to the old Carhartt Detroit Jacket (the other one being the Berne Gasoline Jacket)...and at half the price. Truly a hidden gem since it's primarily uniform apparel so not widely sold by big retailers. The only issue is that the sleeve widths run larger than normal. On a medium, the upper sleeve width is over 12 inches, when it should really be about 11. So the jacket appears to run a little big there. So buy your normal size but throw it in the wash to get a better fit. Other than that, it weighs around 2.5 lbs (heavier than a Dickie's lined Eisenhower) and has a decent nylon/polyfill lining, so it's suitable as a fall/early winter jacket. It probably won't work in really cold conditions unless you really layer up.

great for the price
i used to buy only carharrt, but since they've been importing, there's no reason for it. this jacket is built just fine and fits just fine. nice heavy cotton that feels like 14oz....might be 12, but it really feels like the 14oz. material from my carhartt detroit jacket. took away a star because the snaps on the rear gather-straps wouldn't stay snapped...i finally had to sew them in place--you need to use buttons back there...also the inside pocket is on the wrong side. it sits lower on the waist than a detroit jacket and some people may like this...work jackets are supposed to sit higher on the waist to stay out of the way of your tool belt, but since so many people wear these jackets as casual wear, that might be considered a plus. so far, dickies is my favorite cotton detroit jacket but i don't think they make those anymore. using price as a factor, this one would be my go-to. it's a darn good jacket.

The Answer to the OLD Carhartt Detroit
This jacket is the answer to the OLD Carhartt detroit and for half the price. It features a bi swing back, and adjustments on the wait, and sleeves. It does not have the old flannel lining, but does have some fleece diamond patterned liner. The inside pockets are generous, and it also hs an access pocket that is zippered so anyone can embroider or sew a patch on the upper left of the jacket. Very cool. The length is also representative of the old detroit and so, one can wear a tool belt no problem. For the price, this jacket works as a great replacement for the older detroit. Highly recommend.

Too narrow at the waste line!
The quality of the product is not bad, roomy for work, and sleeves are not ridiculously long like on many other jackets nowadays for some reason. But if you wear pants of 38 waste size, don't bother to buy this jacket, you will be wasting your time for running to return it, because it's a quite too tight at the waste line, it will be lifting your under clothes every time with the jacket waste line bottom. I don't know how many times I was asking these people not to sew everyday Joe clothes according to some young fashion models, who have no "love handles" and tummy. If you sew XL work clothing, it must be a bit roomy in there too, not only at the shoulders area.

Great work jacket
Great jacket for the price. I wanted something durable but inexpensive enough. That it wouldn't matter how beat up it got. It's half the price of the name brands and just as good. I'm an xl and I ordered the xl And it fits just fine. I would buy this product again , but I think it's going to Last me a while.

This should not be considered as an alternative to a Carhartt J97 as others have touted it as online. If you want a cheap work jacket that you're not bothered about the look and fit of, sure, but don't be expecting a well made coat. You get what you pay for, really.
