heavy duty quality build stainless steel tool. At first I had issue with foot step loosing up but finally got bolt tight enough.Using Velcro or rubber strap is helpful when transporting it to prevent parts from sliding aroundI have sandy soil and had no problem getting over 20 samples. Its easy to clean with garden hose and handle and plunger rod unscrew for easy cleaning if needed . Makes taking soil samples easy, I am about 6ft tall and liked height of tool.

It’s a great probe, certainly a lot easier than obtaining a soil sample with a spade. Love it!

The tool arrived quickly. It is very sturdy and performs as expected. I have rocky soil in my private vineyard and need to take soil samples often. The sturdy, pointed, tubular end with the foot pedal along the shaft gives me the ability to penetrate deeply into the rocky soil in multiple locations with minimal effort. The plunger/extractor works well and alleviates the user from having to stoop over to expel the soil from the shaft. Much better than using a shovel or hacking into the ground by hand to reach the necessary depths to ensure accurate analyses by agronomists. Good product.

Very good quality - should last for decades Easier, faster, and more accurate method of obtaining soil samples than digging in multiple places with a spade. Used this on 10 wildlife food plots and 2 lawns. Some soil was damp, other soil dry. Worked well in all locations.

Great product and exactly as described

Broke on first use. The steel tube seems strong but they put a cheaply made piece at the end of the tube that broke off and jammed inside the tube.
