Worth the money... Perfectly even toast in like 1-2 minutes. After using several other brand names and getting aggravated (!) I finally decided to purchase the SMEG. I purchased the SMEG tea kettle a few years ago and it also is worth the money and doesn't crap out.

Just received the toaster a few days ago and so far so good. The toast comes out evenly toasted on both sides and I like the wide slots which will easily fit bagels, thicker bread, and frozen waffles. I love the retro look as well and it matches nicely with our SMEG water heater.
