No volume control.
As soon as you plug into your usb-c port the volume is SO high it hurt my ears. I lowered it to 2 and it was still loud. I used this on apple earphones and on a Lenovo thinkpad X1 yoga laptop. I uninstalled the drivers and rebooted laptop and the error remained the same. I checked all sound settings and even ran the Windows audio troubleshooter but still no fix. Will be returning. Too much hassle for something that should be plug n play

It works fine with a 5th gen iPad Air.
Not much to say here — I prefer to use wired headphones at the gym, and sometimes I use my iPad, which lacks a lightning port. So I keep this adapter there as well and i have no problems. Four stars rather than five because it feels weird to describe an audio adapter as “great”.

Plugged in several different mics but looks like this is ONLY for the earbuds with mic. Returned

Works as intended
Didn’t want to buy a new pair of headphones, so I got these to connect. Works well, no delay in audio, no loss in mic or sound quality, and seems to be built sturdy. It did feel warm to the touch after using it for a long duration, but that isn’t a big concern to me. It’s been two weeks and I have yet to have an issue. Overall, good and well worth my purchase!

Stopped working after 4 months
Worked well at first, seemed to be well made, sturdy. Unfortunately, connection started deteriorating after 3 months, and fully stopped working after 4 months

Only works for music. Phone does not charge while connected
It doesn’t work to charge the phone, I assume it works for music, but I don’t have the lighting to 3.5 to test it. I will be returning it.
