Stride Rite Star Wars Jedi To Sith Light-Up Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid)

My 6 year old loves these sneakers so much. I ordered them last year and when he grew out of them, he just had to have the same pair again. If you have a little Jedi at home, you won't be disappointed. Repeat Customer :-)

Held up pretty well and the battery life was long enough that my son outgrew it before the batteries died. I'd say this was about 6-9 months of frequent wear. (Dang growth spurts)

Lights up both blue and red. Perfect for my 4 year old who is also a huge starwars fan. Lots of grip for those days at school and on the playground. He is very picky on what shoes he wears. No complaints for these comfy shoes

We loved these shoes but after only two months of wear (admittedly, daily wear!) the straps have busted. We were hoping they would last longer and are pretty disappointed to shell out more $$ for new shoes already.

These just arrived today, my son couldn't be more excited about these. They light up red with the exception of sunlight when they light up blue. Out of the box, they seem like a solid/sturdy shoes that should last as long as any other shoe will last for an active 6 year old boy. My only complaint at this point (still early) is the Velcro strap made up as two that Velcro as one because the top strap is too short and Velcro short of the ideal placement point causing the bottom strap to be loose and ineffective. This is a poor design flaw that I was forewarned about on Stride Rite website in reviewer comments. My son's not wearing these for any triathlons anytime soon so I doubt this will be much of a problem but I expect a strap that fits with better ease for the price/brand. My son's happy, for now that's all that matters.

So far I've ordered these sneakers twice and they both were defective, meaning they don't light up. I'm in the process of returning them for a second time and I am still not sure if it's just a cheap shoe or I just got unlucky twice. We'll see...

The tab that you pull to close up the shoe broke off after three months. We had to glue it back on, so overall pretty flimsy shoe.

We love Stride Rite You can't beat the style and quality. My son loves StarWars and these shoes are just perfect for him. Easy on and off, comfort and they light up.
