Life saver for anyone with a cardiac condition
While this device is useful for the athlete, it is imperative for the cardiac patient. Think apple watch on steroids, this is it! Instead of a 30 second glimpse into how your heart is doing, you can record your ECG for over 24 hours, and post-process that data using their web interface for every SINGLE heartbeat. They have calipers so you can measure all different cardiac intervals. But it doesn't stop there, you can view your ECG in real time AND even stream that ECG reading to anyone on the planet. Great for getting second opinions over video chat.My only feature request would be to be able to pause a ECG stream in real time, and then use calipers to measure cardiac intervals. Then push play to start it up again. And to add to that, to even scroll through time during the live session as you would a youtube video clip.

The device is of high quality, easy to wear, easy to use, and great for any workout.
As a former professional athlete and fitness professional, I’m always looking for tools to help me stay healthy as I age. Covid is making many of us rethink how we are looking after our bodies and health, especially the importance of heart health; however, it is essential to know when we push too much for our current fitness level. I love the training load feature the Frontier X provides because it gives me an objective way to see the exact amount of exercise I'm doing every time and know when it's time to increase or decrease the load for myself or my clients - to keep progressing injury-free.Frontier X is a great monitor to help assess the fitness level and gives peace of mind that we work smart, not only hard, without putting unnecessary strain on our hearts. The device provides clarity and detail about the heart during the workouts. After years of pushing my body and my heart, it is great to get the reassurance that I did not cause any lasting damage. I’ve highly recommended this device to my clients and to anyone who would like to improve their fitness safely with a data-driven approach. I just purchased a 2nd device for my husband because we go to the gym around the same time, and we had to take turns wearing the device. The device is of high quality, easy to wear, easy to use, and great for any workout.Other devices lose connection or have trouble measuring when you move and sweat.I like the fact that it has a long wear-time (over 24 hours). Both hardware and software worked flawlessly out of the box.The device also functions as a chest EKG monitor and is attached to the chest with a conductive tension chest strap. A phone app can show you live ECG tracking that can be shared with anyone in the world. The ECG data can be used for trending, and that can also be sent to one’s healthcare practitioners if any health concerns arise. The breathing rate and heart rate alerts are very helpful to keep you in the right training zone. The Cardiac Strain alert is a priceless feature for anyone who likes a good workout but wants to push themselves safely. Studies show that especially some long-distance runners and cyclists or just weekend worriers could create a lot of strain on their hearts during their workouts. For anyone who needs more support, the company has a 1-on-1 live video consultation option (additional monthly service offering) where they can provide personalized recommendations based on the reviewed data.So far, I have had no issues and found the product to work as advertised.

This Can Save Your Life! Best EKG monitor in the Market
Do not pay attention to the negative reviews. If you feel strange rhythms or sensations coming from your heart, this product can save your life. This device is a modified chest lead and is quite useful for determining two things, RATE & RHYTHM. It cannot diagnose Coronary Heart Disease, as clearly stated in the product description, based upon the fact that it is a single lead rhythm strip. It will not replace an EKG in a medical setting, however, it will record heart rhythm abnormalities if used upon the first signs of palpitations or Afib symptoms. The problem with EKG's at a hospital is it will only detect possible Afib during an episode, in the 10 seconds they record an EKG, not after. You may be having Afib symptoms, but they may subside by the time you arrive at the hospital. They'll hook you up, then you'll have normal readings as the symptoms have disappeared. The readings are saved on your phone, you do not need a subscription of any kind, nor do your readings need to be reviewed by a physician before you can see them. If you record Afib readings and your symptoms last longer than usual, you should call your DR. and go to the ER.

Great Product, Connectivity and Support!
I have to say, I was very sceptical about buying the Frontier X2 monitor. So far, this little monitor has been fantastic. I have Arrhythmia and use it when I feel an episode coming on. It's nice that it only takes 10 seconds to calibrate and start recording my activity. It easily syncs to the app on my iPhone via Bluetooth. All I had to do was set up an account with Frontier X and allow the monitor access to my phone's Bluetooth. Then, you just click "Connect" in the app and it finds the monitor and downloads the graphs. You can even check them out on your phone/mobile device. One of the best features is that it's easy to email and share the recordings. My Cardiologist loves that I am able to send these readings to him. I hope this monitor can help figure out what the triggers are. This device monitors your overall heart and shares various heart metrics such as HRV, Body Shock, HRM, heart strain and so much more..I can’t end before calling out their support team. I did have a little issue setting up my account, so I emailed them. They got back to me within 45 minutes and already had the issue resolved. Then they followed up with me later that week to make sure it was still working for me. I'm in Customer Service, so I expect a lot from a company's support team. Great job!

Over-Hyped!
Firstly, the product is not over-hyped by the vendor; but if you read all the reviews you will get an impression that it will do things that it will not. And I believe the vendor is correct in saying that this is the only device that will strap to your chest and provide an accurate ECG hands free! The Vendor support is excellent and I have had to modify this review based on their feedback since they have no voice here. I recogniise that makes our reviews unfairly one-sided.My device is a Moto e5 running Android 8. I chose this device because of it’s small size - larger and newer devices may produce better results.1) It has 2 alerts! One pulse or two pulses. Sure you can allocate them to different things but only one thing to each at a time. e.g. low HR - 2 pulse; High breathing 1 pulse!!! You cannot set it buzz you for low HR, high HR and low Breathing all at the same time. That should not be a problem for most users and if you want to buzz for different things you just need to reset it.2) There is no Heart-rate/ECG interpretation. So does not detect Sinus Rhythm, AFib, Bradycardia, etc. Though they tell me they are working on this.3) Says to only use a 0.5 Amp charger??? WHO'S GOT ONE OF THOSE?? I have an old HP Desktop and that seems to work. Usually these specs are minimum as the device will simply draw the current it wants - they need to clarify that.4) You can only get 20 seconds of your ECG to look at. You have to pick which 20 seconds (at a time) from your 12 hour graph. You can do it on your desktop but this needs some improvement5) I couldn’t get a continuous ECG. I guess they have it on their server but I have not been able to access more than 20 secs of it. I think my Doc would want 30 secs! I think they might be able to provide raw data but I am not sure how that works.6) What's HRV? It's the only interpretation they give you but it seems to be pretty meaningless. Google it!7) Parts of the screen are annoyingly overwritten with other information. Turn OFF tuition for starters!! I think this will vary depending on your device and screen size.8) I couldn’t get live stream to work! I will keep trying but I just get a blank grid with a clock ticking (CTRL-O tries to open a file on Win 10 - no idea what they expect it to do!!!)If you want to do your own ECG there is a much better device for $100 sold right here in Amazon. BUT, this is the only device that will strap to your chest and provide an accurate ECG hands free!Aug 31st - UPDATE....The vendor messaged me and want's to talk! OOPS!! I find out that Vendor replies are not allowed here! After 3 days the device will no longer connect to the app. The app sees it, lists the MAC address and says "Connecting..." but never does. So I can't try any more with it. This happens with may devices occasionally - sometimes it will simply be a defective chip but mostly it can be resolved - I was leaving town at the time and also didn’t appreciate how attentive their customer service is.More info.... The "data" appears in the app as graphs i.e. images (it would be nice to have the raw data) the graphs are about 3 inches long on my phone screen. So if your activity takes 3 or 4 hours you are going to have difficulty selecting an "event" with your big fat thumb. You need to transfer the data to a desktop. If you are monitoring 8 hours of sleep it will still be difficult to pick out a particular event such as waking up. This still needs improving.Sept 6th - Vendor trying hard to assist and that is very much appreciated, sad that they don't get a chance to respond here.Sep 8th. The vendor has approached me to help them test and improve this. I am VERY impressed with their responses and have agreed to help. The device seems to be fine - it’s the app that needs improving and they are working hard to achieve this.

Ecg and app is nice.
Overall it has a user-friendly app and web app.The ecg is nice and I enjoy the ability to view my data remotely. There are some things that are still being worked on but the team seems to be on it.I can see this being part of virtual medicine. It does have a high price tag but there is alot of AI and sensitive sensors. If you are serious about your health and have some money to spend I say give this a try. Feedback seems to be more than welcome to help shape this to be better and better.

Monitoring heart health made easy
Gifted this Frontier X2 device to my brother and I think it is the best gift/investment I ever made. Instead of gifting clothes/phones/other electronic gadgets this was my most sane investment ever.Device is compact and yet powerful. I can't even tell the kind of information it can give you. It's a revolution and I think everyone should have one at home. After Covid and Covid vaccination the heart concerns and heart disease related news and deaths have increased so much that it looked like the best thing I could think of buying. Frontier can record heart rate breathing rate and ECG while on the go which even my apple watch can't. I loved the option of live streaming the data while being recorded. Premium but definitely worth it. One life saving incident that it can record will recover the cost 100x or maybe more.Plan to buy one for my family and own use.Super excited and happy about my decision.

Fantastic Device, Works Well
I got several normal readings, then felt off and was concerned I was having an episode.. and sure enough it picked up my a change in my rhythm.I am ordering a second one for my wife, we are both so surprised how convenient and well this works without having to wear a holter monitor or other larger devices. Honestly it’s also reassuring and gives peace of mind being able to check when you feel off at any time. I keep it with me. It syncs up easily to my phone and I can quickly download new readings. My doctor was pleasantly surprised with the detailed readouts and he asked me to add notes to the end of each one (standing, sitting, how I feel) for extra home monitoring, then I emailed them to him. It’s easy to add notes in the app to each individual reading. To turn it on you hold down the button for five seconds and then turn it off. Very simple. I researched several of these before choosing this one and I’m glad I did. This is such an easy way to monitor at home and have extra data for your doctor, it really could save your life.Pros: Medically accurate (I do the reading on my chest) and it stood up to my doctors scrutiny. Holds charge well, I don’t need to plug it in very often and I use it daily. Shipped quickly. It's easy for me to take it with me when I go out. Also comes with a simple to understand instruction booklet.Cons: I honestly can’t think of any, for what it is.. it does a great job

Great Bluetooth Connectivity, Great Device!
I have certain expectations for a portable EKG monitor, especially because I needed it for my dad who has atrial fibrillation. I have been pleasantly surprised by the Frontier X2 Portable EKG Monitor. It was packaged safely and professionally. The instructions are easy to follow. It is recommended to charge the monitor before use, but I was able to use mine straight out of the box. The size of the monitor is compact, but still offers good screen quality. The monitor also offers different leads to check. Viewing the EKG On my computer and smartphone is very easy on the Fourth Frontier Website. I used the website provided for the download. I would recommend the Frontier X2 Portable EKG Monitor.I have seen reviews which say the device has connectivity issues, but my experience is just the opposite, working very smoothly without any connection issues. This is totally worth every penny. Probably one of my best purchases ever on Amazon. It’s small, compact and accurate!Great Device
