So, I have pretty much the full set of this line, and I do like them a lot. Here's my overall breakdown Pros: - Lightweight but still feel substantial. Since they are kind of oversized, the fact that they're lightweight makes them easier to carry when they are laden with food. - The print transfer on the melamine is actually pretty good. A lot of time with printed designs like these, there can be spots where the transfer is blurry, shows obvious seams, or misaligned with other parts of the design. The patterns line up properly, and seem pretty crisp. - As mentioned before, the serving pieces are large, and suitable for a party/potluck kind of situation. You could dump a whole Costco deli salad in here no problem. Maybe even more than one. Cons - It is made of melamine, so I expect if you put it in the dishwasher enough times the design will start to fade. - Again with the melamine, it doesn't feel cheap per se - but there's no momentary illusion here like with something like Corelle. It's plastic and feels that way. - It might be a little too big for daily use for smaller families/couples. You'll need a place to store it. Also, if you prefer a brighter pattern - check out the Portofino set made by the same company. It has the same configuration as this one, and looks pretty cute too. I kinda wish I'd seen it first!

I'm a terrible, no good, reprehensible cook. When asked to contribute to a potluck, all I can offer is a salad. It's a fatty, delicious, non-healthy and interesting salad, mind you, but it's boring old salad nonetheless. I always feel like a heel bringing salads to potlucks, even though they go over very well because I AM salad queen. Enter THIS BOWL! It has kicked my salad game up to the next level! No longer do I feel like a half-assed salad-bearing heel. Now I feel like I'm contributing the SIGNATURE meal of the evening! People will be talking about THIS salad in this bowl for years to come! This bowl makes my salads look appetizing! Intriguing! Exotic, dare I say! AND, best of all, it travels easily! When we’re running late, as is our habit, and I absent-mindedly throw some bottles of wine and my salad into the trunk and then proceed to drive erratically in a late-induced panic, making the contents of the trunk crash into each other, well – I don’t have to worry about breaking a glass salad bowl, or cracking the cheesy dollar-store plastic bowls I was using! And, at home, I can throw this beautiful bowl into our cupboard of doom where anything glass or fragile goes to break and die. I don’t have to worry about my blundering husband throwing the cast iron frying pan willy-nilly onto it; he throws that thing onto EVERYTHING. Beautiful design, very sturdy. It’s a very wide-mouthed and shallow bowl. It’s a bit pricey; but for the things it does to my salad, the price is totally worth it!

I bought this to use as a bird bath. Its really pretty and is nice a big. The pattern is beautiful. It has a lovely glossy finish. I highly recommend.

What you see is what you get and it's perfect! I'm using this as a bird bath bowl actually; it's been out in the heat for a few months now with no fade. Super easy to clean, sturdy with vibrant colors. I would definitely buy for a serving dish/platter or a bird bath. It's a win-win!

I bought the Talavera serving bowl to match my plates and bowls we have in our 5th wheel. They are beautiful, light weight, and make the food presentation pop with color. I made a 5 pound roast with 8 servings of carrots, potatoes and onions and this bowl held it all.

I read some of the negative reviews and almost didn't purchase but thought I'd give it a try since I needed a pasta bowl fast. So glad I ignored the reviews and purchased and I couldn't be more pleased with this bowl. Its perfect for serving pasta and it cleans up nicely its so pretty it can be left out for display.

Though this is a beautiful piece, I think it’s way too expensive for the material it’s made from. Its not glass or ceramic but a durable melamine (made in China)🥴 I’m not sure why the seller thinks it’s worth so much but it’s pretty. The material is not worth the price, it’s great for storing fruits on the kitchen or dining table. I would buy it again but not at the current price.

I bought the salad bowl in Multicolor. The colors are strong, the design is clear. It's so cheerful! The melamine means the bowl is lightweight and sturdy, even though it's quite large. It's fabulous for fixing a nice big salad!
