Really heavy. Really cast iron.

I love that it came with a lid and a scraper. But the cast iron itself isn’t smooth. It’s gritty feeling. None of my other cast irons feel like that. I will try it. I may return it. Stay tuned…

Cast iron's big draw is even heat distribution, but this griddle is totally uneven. I'm not even that demanding, but when food is undercooked on one side and burning on the other, it's almost useless. This griddle sits across two burners on the range and you can almost see the imprint of the round burners in the pancakes.
