Excellent and well made
I got this to use for macro photography. It’s well made, solid and looks like it will last. Very happy with it.

Light but well made
It's lighter than I expected but it seems well made. It adjusts fast with a turn of the knob which will be perfect for what I want it for ie a router table lift.

Great little jack
Perfect just the job

Simple but effective
Well made and does exactly what it says on the tin. Turn the wheel right and it goes up. Turn it left and it goes down.

No complaints
I'm using this as a router lift with a large 1/2 inch router. It seems sturdy holds the router well, and gives me 0.1mm adjustment, which I'm very pleased with it. It may not last forever but, this is not really it's intended use, and I'm at the upper end of it's load capacity, so I realise I'm possibly pushing it a bit. I'm only a hobbyist woodworker, so if it only lasts a year, I'd probably just replace it with another.

Slightly wobbly
It is not absolutely rigid but at that price it is perfectly acceptable. I expect they are all the same.

Weak to lift, good to lower
I used it in the router table to lift a 1020W plunging router. The lift is too weak to work against the compression springs in the router legs when I tried to lift the router upward. However it is fine to lower the router down. So what I do- 1) lift the router higher than necessary with a self made wooden lever, 2) lock the routing depth with the stock router lock - a little lever attached to the leg, 3)extend the lift until it touches the bottom of the router, 4) release the router depth lock, 5) lower the router to the desired height using the lift. If the manufacturer had used a bigger lifting screw and a bigger handle on the screw it would have been an ideal accessory for a router table.

Really good value for money, works well for the price
Bought to make a lift for a homemade router table. Works really well and has a smooth lift and steady platform.
