Truly delighted.
I was truly delighted with these LED replacements for florescent tubes. The small diameter florescent tubes do not last very long, as a result, my under-cabinet kitchen lights often had a dim bulb, a flickering bulb, a noisy humming bulb, and a non-working bulb. In addition, the big box home center might not have the same color bulbs on each visit, so I had an annoying mix of CW and WW fluorescents. These LED bulbs are supposed to last thousands of hours (we'll see, but they certainly should work longer than the fluorescents). And, they're all the same color ... a slightly cool, but bright white. (Around 4000K according to the packaging.)The only tricky part is getting the replacement tube into the fixture with the "bright" side of the tube facing the right way. Inserting the tubes requires slipping the pins into a slot, and twisting to get the bulb turned about 90 degrees ... and with the lens facing downward. If inserted upside down, the light reflects off the inside of the fixture, but is much less bright than when the bulbs face toward the counter. I had no trouble with most of the bulbs, but one seemed to just not want to turn the right way -- but third try and I got it... (sigh). It looks like I'm getting about twice the light as I did with the fluorescents -- it makes the kitchen counter nice and bright and the light is right where the food prep gets done. The light color gives reasonably good color rendition, so the food looks appealing as you work on it. As for the power, the old bulbs added up to 48 watts ... and the LEDs added up to 20 watts. So, I'm getting about twice the light for less than half the cost. (Note: the small diameter florescent tubes are much less efficient than the full-size tubes usually used in ceiling fixtures.)

Goodbye fluorescents!
I replaced the fluorescent tubes in my under counter lights with these LED tubes and what a dream come true. I was reluctant to buy new fixtures since my old fixtures were turned on by "touch" and I didn't want to lose that feature. These bulbs took care of that issue. The lights Installed easy. They light faster than the old fluorescents. They are much brighter plus only 1/2 the power consumption. The old tubes didn't have a very long service life. Hopefully these will out last me. One commenter noted about getting the bulb turned in the right direction. That is true. I have mine with the lens facing down towards the counter but if you found it to be to bright then you turn it half a turn and reduce the brightness. I would buy these again in a second. They only way they could be better is if they didn't use any electric at all. My wife just loves these.

Easy Plug and Play replacement for old Fluorescent bulbs
We were looking at the cost of replacing all of our 1999 under cabinet lighting - - ours has not been working properly in years. These bulbs are the perfect size and a simple plug and twist installation everything (almost) is working beautifully and brightly. I only wish I had counted correctly so I have placed another order for the one remaining bulb I need. Good price, quick delivery, easy install and just what we needed to save hundreds of dollars.

BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK
I bought these in 2021 as I’ve been moving to LED throughout the house. They recently went out in a well used closet so I reordered. When I bought the cover off, I found one had actually exploded with evidence it was on fire briefly. My family and I got extremely lucky. Properly manufactured LED should not burn up like this. I’m sending my reorder back and looking for a new manufacturer

I'm tired of the inexpensive Chinese F8T5 cool white bulbs burning out several times a year
I'm tired of the inexpensive Chinese F8T5 cool white bulbs burning out several times a year, and have ordered a set of these LightWise LWF08T5-LED04W40M LED bulbs to replace them with. So far, they've been very good - slightly brighter than the old bulbs, with less green tint to the color. My old bulbs are 11 7/8" long, pins included, and the new LED bulbs are 11 3/4" long, pins included, and have fit so far. Like most long LED fluorescent style bulbs, these are directional - the light only shines from one side - so it's important that your fixture has the pins vertical when the bulbs are clicked into place, or the light won't shine straight down.Every time I re-order my fluorescent bulbs, I've checked for LED replacements, and it's great to see they're available now. Hopefully the price will be coming down in the future, and the life will be as long as we expect from LED bulbs.

No customer service
I would have given 5 stars across the board, had it not been for a problem I experienced with one of the tubes. These led replacement tubes for under the cabinet lighting are a little pricey, but they make up for it in energy savings and brightness. One of the new tubes would not work when I installed it. I took it out of the fixture and installed it in one that I had already installed a new tube in, just to make sure the fixture was okay. The tube would not work in that fixture either. All of my other tubes worked fine.Due to the price of the tubes, I decided to send the company an e-mail, advising them of the problem I had, and to determine what I needed to do in order to obtain a replacement for the defective tube. I have never gotten any sort of response from the company at all. I furnished them with my e-mail address, my cell number and my mailing address, but I haven’t gotten a response of any sort since sending the e-mail to them several months ago.

Have been working for 4 yrs now !!
I originally ordered these LED's in June 2018 for my kitchen as direct replacements for 12" fluorescent bulbs (which only lasted about 1 yr each). These LEDs are brighter and are still going after 4 yrs of heavy/non-stop use!!! --- I just dug up my old 2018 order, and finally gave this review only now (4 yrs later), because I currently need more LEDs to replace my closet fluorescent bulbs that have finally blown (after very light usage over many yrs). I assume the new upgrade will be just as good.
