I don't think it'll work, on my Outlander 2017 this piece doesn't fit in the blank space of the car and it's not the right type of adapter to hold it in place.

Q: Will this fit a 1993 Pajero?

No, the size of the plug port is larger on the '93, this port is for 2001 onward.
