For my first book nook, I thought this was a great kit. I purchased craft glue, and a hobby tool set separately, which I definitely needed to complete it. I found the books slightly difficult to put together smoothly, but they still turned out alright. The instructions were relatively clear, but there were some details that I thought could have been elaborated on.For example, the little pieces of PVC that were provided for the windows had a film on both sides that needed to be removed. This was not described in the instructions. I initially thought there had to be a film because of how cloudy they were, but when I couldn't seem to peel it away, believed it was meant to be translucent which led to frustration. Once it was all put together, I could not see into the front of it well. I ended up taking it apart to take the windows out due to this. Once removed, I was finally able to remove the film and put it back together again.The finished product looks very true to the pictures. It is so vibrant and cute on my bookshelf with my other books. Assembling the light also took me a moment to figure out. The pieces are well labeled and relatively organized. I didn't struggle to locate any of the pieces I needed and finished the entire thing in a couple of hours over the course of a couple of days. I thought this was a lot of fun and can't wait to buy another book nook to feed my crafting obsession.

I must admit that I was overjoyed when this arrived. Upon opening the box, I did feel a bit overwhelmed and in over my head going in but once I got started, I didn't want to stop. I had a few hiccups where I didn't understand how to apply some stickers but my husband helped me through it. Overall, this was so much fun. I didn't time myself but it probably took me about 3 hours from start to finish. The pieces are sturdy, which I was nervous about popping them out but they held strong. Note that this requires two AAA batteries and superglue, so make sure you have both on hand (neither are included). I will be ordering another one and look forward to adding them to my bookcase!

My boyfriend bought this for me as a gift. I was a little intimidated by the small pieces, but I loved putting this together. Simply follow the instructions and you’ll start to see it all come together. I enjoyed building this so much that I purposely took a long time to put it together because I didn’t want the fun to end. I would recommend detaching the pieces very carefully to make sure you don’t break anything but I also think they are very durable. After this was completed, I displayed it on a shelf and look at it constantly as I love it! I secretly hope he gets me another one so I have something else to put together :)

Super cute when done and the touch led adds the perfect touch. I used super glue on most the glue parts for a quicker adhesive.My daughter and I enjoyed putting this together

This doesn’t come with a glue so if you don’t have any, please purchase one. This was fun to put together but it did took me awhile to figure out the picture instruction on how to place the sensor panel. Most of the sticker paper didn’t make much sense but you just have to follow the instructions. The build quality is decent just be careful when you push together the wood since it’s on the thin side. Another collection on my bookshelf.

This was fun. Couple of us did these together in about 4 hrs. Just a few parts were confusing. All the parts worked and we had no missing pcs.

This project was so much fun. The instructions are very easy to follow step by step. The miniatures are so realistic and the end product is beautiful.

Very well made! Easy to assemble - took about 2.5 hours. There were no missing pieces. It’s beautiful and the lighting is a perfect touch.
