Ergonomic comfortable chair

Most important thing up front: the product information and diagrams for this chair make it look like the lumbar support is independently adjustable, but it is not. The lumbar support and upper back piece are one solid piece, and move as depicted in the attached diagram, which is from the manual that is included in the product. Why the information for this product shows a diagram with the lumbar support moving independently, I have no idea (that diagram is not in the manual). This is a bit annoying because I probably would not have purchased this product if I had known, as I really wanted an independently adjustable lower back support.That being said, this is a good chair and I wouldn't say I'm inclined (no pun intended) to return it. It is of fairly good construction quality, mostly built from robust, chunky plastic. I don't foresee it having durability issues, though the "hinge" of the back support at the top might be an area for concern. The mesh fabric and foam is strong and supportive. The casters roll smoothly and seem to be of good quality.Despite my complaints about misleading product information, I did find the lumbar support and back piece quite comfortable when set aggressively (due to an injury I need fairly aggressive back support). The seat is firm and supportive but not too firm. The arm rests are soft-touch but not so soft that they fail to support your arms. I would like the seat to move a bit farther forward, but this is more of a nitpick (though it might be something to watch out for if you are tall; for reference I am 5'11" and 190 lbs). The headrest doesn't lock in place and thus is fairly useless, but this is normal even in much more expensive chairs. Headrests are always an afterthought.Chairs in this price range can be hit or miss in terms of comfort and quality. You are unlikely to do much better in this price range, though you can consider the Flexispot C7 (not sold on Amazon) as a similarly priced and featured alternative. I found this chair quite comfortable, it is sturdy for the price range and has a good level of adjustability, and I think it would suit someone of my size or smaller quite well. If you are much taller than me, I would strongly advise you to only buy a chair you have actually sat in.

Husband uses this for home office chair. We shopped at Office Depot and found this to be the perfect chair. Checked pricing on Amazon vs Home Depot and price was $40 cheaper delivered to our door and delivered with a smile from the Amazon driver 3 days earlier than scheduled. Thank you Amazon.com!

Love the way the back rest moves with you and the overall adjust ability of the chair. The only downside that I have found so far after about 2 months is that the seat cushion is not the greatest, definitely could have used a little extra cushion.

A $353 chair that broke in just 23 days. It does not go up or down anymore. The lifting mechanism is broke.
