I bought this to open and close my feed door for my spreader. This little actuator works great. Durable and light weight without taking away from quality. I will definitely buy more if I ever need to.

Works as advertised

So disappointed! Bought 2 and both stopped working after two cycles. Don't buy this linear actuator. I won't buy any of their products after these showed themselves to be poorly made.

The actuator drew 80 ma., no-load. If I try to stop it with my thumb it draws about 400 ma. max. It's pretty strong but my thumb can slow it down. I didn't want to stall it completely. No idea what sort of overload protection it has... It might be a fuse. How much can it bench? The claimed 30N, or about 7 lbs., feels about right. The AC power supply I used was 12VDC 2A. The JST 2 pin connector is very convenient, but these tiny plugs can connect wrongly. As for switches, Amazon's "Overall Pick" for ten of the 6-pin, 5A, On-Off-On toggle switches is 9 bucks. End mounting holes are 4mm. It can stop and hold in any position. I'm pretty sure power completely disconnects at the end points. Remote and/or speed control seem perfectly possible... "12v remote speed control" gets hits but finding a good one is problematic.. Asking price for the 30mm/30N size was $20.99.

I really like this linear actuator, the small size & decent stroke is very versatile for robotics applications. I Intended to use it to just turn a display to aim where I'm sitting, but now that I have it so many uses come to mind. I may have to get a couple more of these. It's made well and includes hardware for both ends. I tested it with the bench supply and it operates as expected.

Neat little actuator. I made a little remote-controlled lens cover, so I can change between a white light and red, while sitting in my garage listening to music and enjoying a pint (or many). If I need more light to work, I flick a switch and the actuator moves the red lens off of my LED panel light and tah-dah! White light over my bench!

Der Linearmotor tut was er soll, aber erst nachdem ich ihn aufgemacht habe. Er ging ein paar Mal dann nicht mehr, bis ich drauf gekommen bin, dass die Kabeln einen Wackelkontakt hatten. Fehler behoben und geht einwandfrei. Ich denke aber dieses Problem ist sicher nicht bei jedem Modell und ich habe wieder mal die Montags-Edition bekommen. Ich steuere, damit die Blende in der Küche, hinter der sich ein Saugroboter (Name Herkules 🤣) versteckt.

Works great now I have to find the right projet to put those in!!! Made me grim ear to ear ha!
