Great learning manipulative
We've always had an abundance of counters for our kids to use, but the Unifix cubes are a great visual comparison for kids to see the relationship between the different amount of cubes, say 5 cubes in comparison to two cubes. It helps them have a visual reference of what a number looks like in a height visual sense. Of course they have a multi-purpose use that matures with the child. They are even a great source of play for my little ones as they are easy for little fingers to put together and take apart. So they work the fine motor skill in little fingers. We use them for patterning concepts as well as sorting colors and simple adding and subtracting. This set comes with a small booklet inside the package which is helpful in giving you additional ideas of other uses for the cubes. They are great quality. I was originally going to find some Legos to use, but these are much easier for little fingers to handle than Legos. They are also not as brutal on the feet if you happen to step on them. They cannot be used for building only stacking.

Great set for learning Common Core Math methods--durable, snap together/dissemble well, perfect for kids.
I bought this for my kids, primarily for the middle child who's a kindergartener. The pieces snap together well (even my 2.5 year old can use them) and they aren't difficult to dissemble. We particularly like that each stack of 10 is a different color. It makes it easy for me to give my son different groupings and set him up with challenges while I work with his older sister on her base ten blocks set. I bought this set on the advice of a math teacher who said we need one at home to help us help our kids with the new math styles of learning. If your kids are learning Common Core math at school, you need this set at home. I just wish I had purchased and used this when my 3rd grader was starting out in Common Core math!

Love it!!
I bought these when my boys were 3 and 4 because i read that they helped a young childs mind to grasp math concepts. We would count, add and subtract, play little math games, and when I would walk away they came up with their own creative ways to play with them. My oldest is going to college for Engineering next fall, they both have amazing math minds. I believe these unifix cubes played a part in their understanding math the way they do. I just bought a set for my 4 yr old daughter, she hasn't been as interested in counting and numbers as my boys were so i wasn't sure how these would go over. They came in yesterday, Well she loves them! First she took them out and started making patterns, unprompted, and later we played store and took turns buying and checking out the cubes in sets of 10 according to color. After she had played with them by herself for a while, I asked her how many blue ones there were (there are 10 of each color), and she said "10,they all have 10". I was excited to see she figured that out by herself just from playing with them. I recommend them for 3 yrs through the first few years of school while learning, addition, subtraction, multiplication and place value, wonderful to have nearby while helping with math homework.

Great for a variety of math skills!
I purchased these to use as a supplement with my son's math homeschool curriculum for K and 1st grade. This is probably our most used math tool and will probably be used even in the next year or two! They can be used for colors, patterns, counting, skip counting, addding, subtraction, math vocabulary (greater than, less than, etc.), graphing and more. He even surprised me one day by announcing that there were 100 cubes in the package because he knew there were 10 sets of 10. The cubes are very easy to manipulate. They stick together well but are not hard to seperate. After a year of use the bright colors have not faded and the cubes have not really shown any signs of wear. It does come with a brief booklet. I used a few of the ideas but you will find a great deal more ideas for their use in a curriculum, on the internet, or even just exploring them over time.

Excellent For Hands-on Learning
We used blocks similar to Unifix when I was in elementary school and I can remember eagerly wanting to pull them out and play with them. I just bought a set for my 2.5 year old and he loves them too! He's able to take them apart and put them back together fairly easily. He counts with them and practices his colors as he lays them out. We started with pattern recognition and after just a few minutes, he was able to follow the sequences and play along. The blocks are also a great way of reinforcing math skills such as sequencing, addition, subtraction, and multiplication. The set comes with a little booklet that gives you additional ideas of how to use them. They're also conveniently stored in the cardboard box they come in. (See added pictures above) The Unifix blocks are a great math manipulative that I can see lasting a long time. Recommend!

Good hands on product for math
I saw these during my son’s kindergarten math workshop and decided to purchase for at home. He loves using them to make his 10 frames and it makes completing his remote learning assignments easier because he can put them together and take the photo instead of having to sit and draw it out. They are perfect for helping kindergarteners understand 10 frames and how many 10s and 1s are in a number. They are also sturdy so when you stick them into each other they don’t fall apart easily.

Actually works (unlike the other ones I ordered)
These are great little unifix cubes- perfect for the math lessons we want to do. There are great because my daughter thinks she’s playing with a toy when we are ready using a math manipulative. They actually stick together (unlike the first set we bought and returned, boo) so we were happy. Comes with a little activity book to give families an idea how to use them.

Prácticos
Llegaron muy rápido y a muy buen precio, aunque están un poco más delgados de los que estaba acostumbrada a utilizar así que no se que tan resistentes sean
