The best money I’ve ever spent!
My ear has been blocked for a whole week, I suffer from waxy ears anyway but manages to get some swimming pool water stuck in there too. This just arrived and I tore open the box in great excitement, set it all up (I just used plain lukewarm tap water) and pumped a few times. I cannot believe the amount that just came out of my ear!!! I feel like I can hear in 5D! Honestly this was incredibly cheap and effective, I’m blown away! Best money I’ve ever spent. So easy to use and gentle. Cannot recommend enough!

Ear Wax Removal Tool
The Ear Wax Removal Tool by Tilcare is a comprehensive ear irrigation and cleaning system designed for both adults and kids. Having used this product, I am impressed by its thoughtful design and effectiveness. **What's Included:** The kit comes with a basin, syringe, curette kit, towel, and 30 disposable tips. Each component plays a vital role in ensuring a thorough and safe ear cleaning process. **Ease of Use:** One of the standout features is the user-friendly design. The syringe provides sufficient pressure to dislodge stubborn ear wax without causing discomfort. The basin is well-sized and prevents any mess, which is especially helpful when cleaning children's ears. The inclusion of a towel is a nice touch, making cleanup easy. **Effectiveness:** The ear irrigation system works remarkably well. After a few uses, it significantly improved my hearing clarity and comfort. The curette kit, with its various tools, is useful for safely removing any remaining wax that the irrigation might miss. **Safety:** Safety is a top priority with this kit. The 30 disposable tips ensure a hygienic experience, reducing the risk of infection. The design of the syringe and curette tools is such that it minimizes the chance of ear damage, making it safe for use on children under supervision. **Overall Experience:** The Tilcare Ear Wax Removal Tool is an excellent investment for anyone dealing with ear wax buildup. It's comprehensive, easy to use, and highly effective. While it might be a bit pricier than basic kits, the quality and peace of mind it provides are well worth the cost. I highly recommend this product for both personal use and for families with kids.

Worked first time!
Fantastic worked first time, only one fill of the bottle a lot came out. although my daughter had been putting olive oil in for over a week to soften it. Used just warm water, nothing in it. She is soooo happy to hear again! Thoroughly recommend. Professional cleaning in Boots is £60 daylight robbery. This piece of kit will be on duty for all the family when they need it. Plenty of spare nozzles. I won't have to shout to make myself heard. Hopefully she has learned earphones are not healthy now.

You need to know what you are doing
Expensive for what is effectively a plastic water bottle with a spray attachment. It can work but be warned that there is the potential to cause pain or damage to the ears in the hands of a clumsy or heavy handed user. Also, you really need an ear camera (or a health professional) to check that wax is the problem before you submit the ear to high pressure lavage

Fantastic! Cleared a fully blocked ear after one use!
This piece of kit is SO basic but comes with lots of bits and pieces and is a TOTAL GAME CHANGER. I am a grown adult with around 6 years of ear misery since developing ear 'eczema', alternating between inflamed ears and completely blocked (small ear canals!) I had a fully blocked ear, no hearing at all, for around 1 week and was so miserable I thought I had nothing to lose when trying this bad boy. I applied diluted 3% hydrogen peroxide solution into the ear for 30 minutes before. Filled the bottle with warm water and used the solid attachment, squirted the full bottle into the ear over the sink and loads of gross stuff came out and I COULD HEAR AGAIN! Would highly recommend but be sure to soften wax prior!

Completely useless but I found a perfect alternative solution ...
Buy a bottle of 3% hydrogen peroxide from Amazon (or your local chemist or hardware store - but they probably won't have any). I guess any 3% hydrogen peroxide should be okay - but you only need a few cc's per ear crisis so 500ml should last many years. I diluted it about 50% with warm tap water and it worked brilliantly - painlessly "bubbling" away pretty well at once. Vastly more effective than super slow Otex - that can take many days of tedious effort to work. I've used Otex for many years but won't waste time with it again after discovering this (I got the idea on Youtube from a Canadian clinic). To use this I also recommend these from Amazon : 3 in 1 Ear Syringe - Reusable Ear Wax Removal Tool - 30ml/75ml Blue, 90ml Red I first tried pretty well everything Amazon has for ear cleaning - and they were all pretty well useless except this hydrogen peroxide solution (diluted down to about 1.5%), squirted into my ears using one of the rubber syringes. After a few minutes of the wax bubbling I used a different rubber syringe to rinse the ear with warm soapy water (and then had a shower anyway and used the shower head). What a relief! Partial deafness in both ears cured easily in minutes! After some weeks trying every (useless) gadget I could buy. I tried on Amazon an expensive (£90 or so) electronic vibrating battery powered ear squirter (a poor man's version of the kit they use at your GP's). It had quite good reviews but I found it almost completely useless - a total waste of money to be honest. Get a couple of cheap rubber syringes and your own hydrogen peroxide instead. Note I don't have medical training and it's meant to be bad for your skin and definitely for your eyes - so dilute at least 50% for the first use and maybe don't use if your ear is infected. If it hurts much at all I guess have hot soapy water and a rubber syringe (or shower head) ready to rinse it out. For me it worked so so well with no discomfort - just the marvellous bubbling you hear and feel when the wax is at last getting broken up so it can be rinsed out. It's taken me 40 years or so of suffering with periodic partial deafness due to wax build up to at last discover this simple, fast and very effective DIY solution so I hope this helps someone else.

5* REVIEW! Wish I could give it more stars
I honestly never EVER write reviews- but I feel like this deserves one! My 6yo daughter has suffered with severely impacted ears for a long time. Waited 6 months for ENT appointment. Only to be told when we got there the wax was far too hard to be removed and to continue with drops, so carried on using them. Next appointment was a 4 month wait but in this time we were due to go abroad and I was worried of having water in her ears from the pool so booked & paid her in privately to have it micro-suctioned. She didn’t handle this very well and we failed to do the appointment. Was on my last resort searching the internet when I came across this and saw the reviews and thought well, haven’t got much to lose! Well!!!!! She handled this so well, she said it was pain free & after only a few squirts on both ears we managed to unclog both the huge wax plugs!! Amazing bit of kit.

Easy to use, effective, well priced
First off I will say I am a retired registered nurse who has done a good number of ear irrigations over the years. I found this kit to be easy to use and effective for ear wax removal. I was surprised by all the pieces of equipment it contained and the reasonable price. I would caution that anyone with a damaged eardrum, tubes in their ears, infection or other ear problems should check with their doctor before using it. I also would be cautious about using the metal instrument in this kit as they could cause some serious damage in unskilled hands. There are several methods for ear irrigation, but the one that I use is to obtain a bottle of generic ear wax removal oil, warm the bottle of oil by placing it in a dish of warm water for a few minutes (cold ear drops can sometimes cause nausea and dizziness). I put approximately 3 drops of the warmed oil into the ear and place a piece of cotton into the ear canal so the oil doesn’t run out, then I repeat the procedure for the other ear. I wait at least an hour (or longer if there is severe wax build up) so the warmed oil has a chance to soften the ear wax somewhat. Then I remove the cotton balls, pull the earlobe to straighten the ear canal somewhat and use a pen light or flash light to look into the ear canal to see where and how much blockage there is so I’ll know if the irrigation later is actually breaking up the ear wax. I fill the irrigation spray bottle with warm (not hot) tap water and use the flexible tube with tip and round splash guard. Use of the flexible tube tip requires two hands, one to hold and spray the bottle and one to hold the tip in the ear canal, but a person doing the irrigation on themself might find the solid rod type tip easier to use since you don’t need to hold the tip in the ear canal with a separate hand. I have my subject hold the cup under the ear, place a towel over the shoulder to catch any drips, and pump the spray bottle multiple times. It is important not to totally block the ear canal with the spray nozzle as the used water and wax needs to have a path to flow out of the ear canal as fresh water enters. It usually takes a number of pumps, but usually there will be small pieces of ear wax flowing into the cup. It probably will not be the main ear wax plug, however. I take a pen light or flash light and look in the ear and can usually tell if I am making progress. Then I just continue irrigating the ear canal and checking it periodically until it appears clean and unblocked which can take quite a bit of irrigating. Sometimes a large part of the ear wax plug remains intact and just moves closer to the entrance of the ear canal and can be easily seen. The fluid stream from the spray bottle isn’t always strong enough to wash it out. That’s when I find one of the metal instruments like the ear spoon may be helpful to carefully remove the plug if it’s lodged near the entry to the ear canal. If you have gone through the whole cleaning procedure and feel you haven’t been successful, it may be helpful to repeat the the ear wax oil instillation/cotton balls part and leave it in overnight, then try the irrigation again the next day. If that still doesn’t work, it is likely time to see a medical professional for some help. This is just the method I have found useful, but there are other methods using different irrigation solutions and different techniques. Bottom line, I would recommend this kit. It is easy to use, I found it effective in removing significant ear wax blockages, and I thought it was well priced.
