I used this in a hydraulic steering system for my "mini yacht" heavy trawler. The system requires 1000 psi rating. The quality is excellent. This system uses both 3/8 stainless tubing and 3/8 hard nylon SeaStar tubing. For the stainless I used the included ferrules and for the nylon I bought Delrin ferrules from Amazon. This is a SeaStar part.

I undertook the project of adding autopilot to my boat, which has a SeaStar Sports helm. These newer helms from SeaStar will only accept these ORB fittings. I loved the ease of installing the needed fitting, and the fact that these ORB fittings can be positioned in whatever direction is desired, then tightened. Perfect fit for 3/8" SeaStar crimped on hose fittings!
