Great product

I just bought this gasket and it fits perfect for my LG wm3500cw. Some people said it was too big....it is not. Others said that the drain hose was too short. Here is the thing...apparently LG used different gaskets for the wm3500cw. Some had a long drain hose attached to the gasket. People that needed this version cannot use this gasket without additional hose pieces, couplers and clamps. Other wm3500cw gaskets had a short drain nipple attached to the gasket that would be clamped to additional hose pieces and couplers. This latter version is the gasket my wm3500cw came with and the gasket I bought from this seller fits perfect. You need to check to see which drain hose type your wm3500cw has before ordering. That means removing the front spring, removing the front side of your existing gasket, and looking at the hose.Also, yes you have to make your own holes in the gasket. This is normal, just use a die or a punch and hammer cut a hole in the rubber. If you look , there are other potential, uncut connections that could used depending on the washer model hence no holes are pre-cut until you actually decide which you need.Lastly, here is some advice. Remove the front of the washer to make it easier and save your fingers. Use a spring removal tool that can open wider than 5 inches; some on Amazon only open 4.3 inches.

Before purchasing i checked the "compatability" according to the listing. However, when we tried to install this in my washer it didn't quite fit and the drainage hose piece wasn't long enough to work with my washer. Ended up not being able to use it.

I like how the seller kept me in communication on how the part may or may not fit my LG washer. When arrived, I removed the old gasket and compare both side but side. Please take aclose attention to the drain plug as its been note that is different. After I confirm matching.. I proceed by installing it back. All check good and working perfect. Thank you.

It took a bit of time to figure out the way it went on, there weren't very good or clear instructions. Also, pieces weren't already cut out and was afraid I'd mess it up. In the end, was able to figure it out and it fit perfectly for the washer we had: Lg WM3270CW

The gasket fit perfect. Our original one had mold/mildew buildup from almost daily use over 3 years. Removing and replacing the inner band was a challenge without taking the whole washer apart. I needed a second pair of hands to get it back in place. Reconnecting the drain hose at the bottom of the gasket was also a challenge. Happy with the gasket and hope to get another 3 yrs of use out of this one.
