If I had to critique it, I would like to have more control over the activation times and what the brightness levels are at in the 24hr mode. And it would be nice if it had risers as it sits very close to the water. But these things come at the higher end I guess. For what you're paying for one of these, it's hard to complain much at all. What is the pH of the water 3 How deep is the tank 4 Do you have plants in the tank I switched from a standard tube to LED lighting and within 3 weeks had blanket weed with gravel and plants covered in algae growth because the light was too strong. Fortunately the light unit is adjustable in strength and overall time it is lit, so you will need to experiment with the light settings.
