We bought a pair of these as we were given advance notice that our son would be requiring serial casting to correct toe walking. He is a size 1 in normal shoes and these have fitted like a glove onto his casts. They are strong, well built and 1000 times better than the free boot supplied by the NHS which fell off his feet 3 times before we managed to walk out of the hospital. So far these boots have allowed our son to attend school and carry out his normal day to day activities including playing outside in the field with no problems. They have been used in his tennis class with brilliant effect and are standing up well to the pounding an active 6 year old boy can inflict on them. Smart, strong and stable. So glad we found out about these in time to get them shipped.

This shoe worked GREAT for my 5 y/o daughter with a metatarsal fracture! It fit true to size and was durable. She walked comfortably in it . Highly recommended this shoe!

My son fractured one of his toe (second toed) he’s a toddler boy who would still run and jump. We were recommended a shoe so the fracture wouldn’t get worse and his toe was also swollen. This shoe is durable and good quality. It did look a little big but it was snug and kept him from bending his toes and he was still able to play and run. Mostof all I was glad to take him to summer classes without having to worry about his toe. He’s all healed now.

Our six-year-old daughter is a tip toe walker & competitive gymnast. To attempt to correct the problem before she gets hurt, she was put into dual casts to help retrain her to walk on flat feet. For the first two week round, she wore shoes supplied by the hospital. They were literally tied together by the end. For the 2nd two week round, they were completely out of cast shoes in her size, which is what prompted me to took for an alternative. Enter this product. I say all this to say she’s not the usual person who would use these shoes. She’s stayed super active, including continuing her three hour gymnastics practice three times weekly all in these shoes. So they have gotten very heavy wear. I will say for her needs, they have not worn as well as I would have liked. If we have to re-cast for a final time, I’m not sure these shoes would make it another two weeks. That being said, my daughter does really like them and has found them to be much more comfortable that the previous hospital shoes. I initially wanted to give three stars for the perceived durability, but realizing her use is not typical, I bumped it up to 4. For the price, since I had to purchase 2, I wish they weren’t so worn already. For sizing reference, my daughter wears size 10 shoes (toddler) and these fit perfectly.

My son broke his big toe nail right in half and couldn’t wear a real shoe for about three months. This helped keep his foot safe from smacking it while at school and protected his toe until it healed enough to wear his regular shoe again. And it can be worn on either foot which is a plus in case something like that happened again.

I purchased 2 of these for my 7 year old son. He had to have surgery on his ankles because of his severe toe walking and now have casts on both feet. After putting these on he walks around as if there are no casts on his feet. These has been sooo helpful. He plays basketball and can play outside with friends with no problems. Im so happy I found these. Thanks to the lady for the review that purchased these for her daughter that had the same surgery as my son.

Purchased to replace the cheap shoe given to my child to wear over her cast. Everything about this shoe was great except when it arrived the sole was detached from the shoe. I didn't have time to replace it so with a little shoe goo we were able to make it work. She went on to comfortably wear this shoe with no other issues. Fit great over her cast.

My daughter wears a size 13 and she still has an inch of room at the end of her foot. 😒
