Purchased one a few months ago. Yes it's not exactly high-tech secure - it can be defeated with a screw driver and a paper clip. However if you're needing to grant easy access to a locked door in an already secure area this is great. The magnetic lock is strong, the finger print reader works, the card reader works, and if need be the keypad works.Adding users is pretty simple particularly when doing it from a spreadsheet. You can then upload that spreadsheet to other locks.The device has the ability to communicate with a server via TCP/IP but I've not gone that route.We added a remote relay (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JGDV8UM) so the door can be opened for guests, and even put in a motion relay (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075KM24J8) so the door would unlock for people exiting.We eventually purchased 2 more of these items. One we are going to use on an outside door. The controller itself will be on the inside but we are running an external weather-proof card reader (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LWRQMN5) to the outside of the door. The seller even helped me wire up the external reader (they sent me the attached picture). There is nothing stored on the external reader, nor can cracking it open force the door to open. As long as the controller itself is secure there's nothing to be worried about. In fact had I had the foresight when I first purchased this I would have merely put an external card reader on our doors and placed the controller safely in a locked box in another part of the building. Hindsight...I can see us purchasing a few more of these down the road. Maybe even eventually wiring them in to the network but keeping on an isolated VLAN with no internet access. For now though we've loaded up a few hundred cards and will give them out as needed.

I bought TWO of thse several months ago.. and although I was so busy i did not have time to install it...when i finally did I regret not having done it sooner. It is on a hidden safe of mine, so i had to build it in with additional brackets. But it was so easy to install. It came with a disc that has very good instructions. Once set up... the functionality is VERY good...and the unit looks so professional. Could not be happier. GREAT product.

Great service, responded to my question by the next day.Still me being stupid, did video chat... 2 minutes now I am not stupidSuper great support.only thing on install put on table first and wire, test then run the wires.I got the door unit wires backwards, tech support say remember follow wiring diagramI am a man never read instructions tell it does not work.So Great product for a door, and I put on sliding door.

This unit thus far is working flawlessly - except the fingerprint scanner broke off the the main housing after a day's use. That was fixed by using some epoxy cement to secure the scanner back into the housing. Otherwise, the unit is doing exactly what it is supposed to do. Will see how this unit holds up with access approx. 180+ times per day times 7 days. Easy to program and delete items from the roster.Wish they had a waterproof unit.

This works just as advertised. The installation was not difficult. Just make sure you have a diagram before proceeding. So far i am happy with it.

Total piece of crap. After having this unit for 2 years, I can tell you that it is worthless. We can actually pull the door open with a medium tug. 600 lbs pressure magnet. RIIIIGHT. NOT!! It is also not waterproof, so we purchased a cover recommended by the seller. The cover turned yellow, so we cannot see anything on the screen anymore and the screen has essentially lost any text color so you can no longer program anyone new. Also, programming anyone new was always the biggest pain in the butt. The darn thing also constantly beeps. Stay away from this piece of crap and just spend a little more money for a quality product. The installation was a HORRIBLE and I spent $1,500 getting it installed!! Now, I am just going to disable the darn thing and use a key or install a strong deadbolt that can be unlocked using Bluetooth. MUCH BETTER OPTIONS AVAILABLE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CRAP PRODUCT.

Needed an access control solution for a new building we've recently moved into. I was a little intimidated that the wiring would be beyond me but for the price, I was willing to give it a shot. The install documentation needs work but the seller is so good about returning emails and helping out in general that I had no problems getting this unit working. I also added the PIR sensor to facilitate people exiting the building.
