Unger Microfiber Ceiling Fan Duster

I bought this because I have fans that are 20 feet in the air in a Barn! If you know anything about barns is they are very dusty. In the past I would have to climb a ladder to clean the fans. With this fan cleaner I got all 5 fans cleaned in the time it would take to do one. No ladders to move. It took a little time to get the hang of placing it on the fan blades, but once I had that down, I could go to town. This tool knocked off large amounts of dust. It doesn't catch all the dust but it did a great job. Afterwards I slipped the cover off and rinse it out to get most of the dust out. Next time I wash work towels I'll throw it in and I'll be good to go again.

This is perfect for cleaning ceiling fans and we bought a second one for our vacation home. And it is machine washable

Works well. I have an extender pole that I attach it to to clean to fan 18 feet up. Fan blade fits in it just fine and gets the top and bottom of the blade clean. Cleaning it is easy; take it off the frame and wash it. User tips: don’t stand directly under it, you will get dirty. Angle when cleaning the blade is important so align yourself with the blade angle, again not standing under it. Spray some dust collector stuff on it to attract the dust otherwise it comes off too easy. Recommended.

This worked great for me - I was worried it would throw dust all over but it didn’t. (I have a bed directly under my ceiling fan.)

The ONLY drawback to this is that I assumed it would come with a handle because its clearly meant to have one. But they are sold separately and the shortest one is $20. I'm sure it probably says that on the ad somewhere but I didn't pay attention. Good quality, works well, but just know that you'll have to buy the extension handle separately and that adds to the total cost. If I had realized that before I likely wouldn't have gotten it because it was around $30 total after and that's more than I'd want to pay for a fan duster. But...it is what it is, and the product is good, admittedly.

Mixed feelings. Good quality and it works, but the design makes you push on the fan blade which then moves. You have to chase the blades to clean them or use one arm and another pole to hold them still while you clean with the other arm. The material is thick and cleans well. So works but not perfect.

Cleaning a ceiling fan is cumbersome process. With this duster it can be done by standing on the floor and need not climb on ladder.

After attaching a handle, it was so convenient to just reach up, slide it over the fan blade and slip off. Voila, dust gone! Works only for dust, however. If you have greasy fan blades, you need to get up there and wash. Nevertheless, a great product, great idea.

Took a chance on this ceiling fan cleaner, and we are happy with how well it works. We also like that one does not need to climb on a ladder or chair to clean the fan.

Why did I not have one of these before. Great for cleaning my fans, did have to look for the right connector though.
