Worth the investment!
Just used my X5. I bought this to clean my windows and bath tiles which are not within reach even with a decent ladder. The version I received did not have a QR for an app but it works great with just the remote. I used it on my large picture windows and my bathroom tiles. It only fell once (caught it) when it hit the edge of a door frame when I was cleaning tiles. The frame was thin and close to flush with the wall which messed up the suction which is understandable. It was able to automatically get around my bathroom exhaust vent, ac vent and other obstacles. It did leave rings at the beginning but the secret is to use a good streak free window cleaner on the lower pad but only one or two sprays so it doesnt saturate the cloth. After I did that it worked streak free. I stopped using the bungee cord. It seemed like the cord was more of a liability thing. I can’t imagine this machine falling off on framed glass or tile unless the frame is flush with the glass.

Nice little window cleaning robot with few limitations
This window cleaner works on framed window glass with some limitations. Here are the summaries of my observations after few uses:What Cop Rose can do:It can clean the normal glass where it contains just some dust, fingerprint, haze or loose particles. It can reach places on the window that may be inconvenient for you to get to. This is a big pluses. What it can do but not very well:It does not clean well on filmed glass. You can see the circular path streak marking on the glass due to the film material. It is slow process. For a 2' x 8' windows, you can expect somewhere around 8 to 10 minutesIt is not fully automated, you are part of the window cleaning process throughout:You will have to apply appropriate amount of window cleaning agent and spray onto glass and or on one of the pad.You will come back in five minutes or longer (depending on the size of the window) to remove it from the glass and move to next window. You will need to replace the fabric on the pad from time to time. You will make sure there is electrical outlet nearby (or extension cord). When you spray one of the two pads with cleaning agent, spray the upper pad and keep the lower pad dry. This is due to the way Cop Rose is climbing upward by leveraging the lower pad. What it can not do:It can not clean the narrow window with width less than 16" wide. This is due to it needs the width few inches wider than the 12" dimension of Cop Rose in order to climb up the window. It can not clean the dirt that is slightly "sticky" on the glass. You will need to clean it by conventional means (muscle grease power). It can not clean the area where obstruction clearance is less than 5" from the window surface. Blinds for example. It can not clean frameless windows per specificationIt will not clean four small corners due to the radius of the pads design. It may not be wise to clean the sky windowsIt will not work on curved glassIt should not break your glass in my opinion.Note: For those has trouble get it to work or it quit to work after couple times, make sure the connector is screwed tight to have good ground at the DC connectors (2 places).Suggestion to designer of this product:Provide a small reservoir (say 16 oz) that can carry "distilled" water (zero TDS) for automatic spray function.Improve fabric pad design to facilitate: To clean slightly sticky dirt and better overall cleaning. Better suction for dirt extraction and lighter weight.Add a "down" mode to reduce the total cleaning time when starting at the bottom.Return to the same location when completed each window cleaning. The advantage for this is retrieval issue as well as fail safe. The final verdict:Cop Rose is fairly easy to use. However, the reliability is unknown as of this time. If you have large tall windows or hard to reach glass, Cop Rose is your new found friend provided your windows need relatively "light duty" cleaning. You should not expect a completely hand off automated window cleaning process.

Don't use too much Windex or else it'll fall off ...
Don't use too much Windex or else it'll fall off. Luckily there is a tether, which works. No problems, and my windows are left shiny.

Great but breaks quickly. Expensive for only a few uses.
Had high hopes, was very pleased, until on perhaps it’s 5th use, when it quit moving across the glass. It had never fallen or had any problems...it was moving...then it spun in one place. Much to my dismay, after jumping through numerous hoops, even providing requested videos to the seller, they simply stopped responding and abandoned me. Luckily, Amazon stepped up and refunded my money.
