This text and commentary is a complete treatise that has the ability to elevate a student's standard of life. I am fortunate to keep studying this text as part of a study group where the group synergy keeps me on the path. The depth one can gain in every repetition of this book by Adi Sankara is really something that makes one wonder why it is called a prakarana grantha. No wonder Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda chose this as one of two books for future generations to benefit from through professional video recordings of his discourses.

To think that a 30 year old around 2,000 years back had such insights is truly amazing. It is a long treatise on Advaitha - with a lot of repetitions of the One message - but something truly enjoyable. For those who do not know Sanskrit - like me it should be motivation enough to learn the language as I could feel the brilliant poetry at work by Adi Sankara
