I bought this on a whim for helping out last minute for a wedding when someone cancelled. It actually does work really well. It was in a big venue and the lights filled the entire room very brightly. In fact, when it was turned on initially there was collective on "oooh" from the party. I had it manually set to blue rotating lights at that moment and it looked beautiful. I switched to sound detection auto later and that mode works really well too. It really adds to the music.A few notes in case you have a couple problems I did - I could not get the light to mount onto the stand. After using a screw driver to take apart the top, what I suspected was true - the top pull out section it mounts on was wedged so hard in there it would not telescope up. I had to take apart the locking mechanism and pull hard and then it worked properly.The remote really is confusing as others have said. I could not get it to do anything manual once I press auto. I was able to get around it by turning it off and back on and then using manual buttons only until I needed auto.I did drop it about 8 feet since I could not mount it the first time I used it. It was perfectly fine.I have used it a couple times since then with great results.

I bought these light sets for my wedding. I used two sets and the lit up the entire barn dance floor. Very powerful lights that pulse between patterns and different colors. Great value for the money. The stand is very flimsily and may need to be supported. Very easy to install.

It isn't a pro light, but it'll cover a small dance floor relatively easily. The colors & functions are great. Anyone who complains about the audio mode isn't turning up their PA loud enough for the light's mic to hear it. My main complaint is the stand. Short and flimsy. Mount it to an overhead bar or the top of a tower speaker, and you're good to go.

I've had all the expensive lights ever, doing all kinds of shows.But these days, I've scaled down to just me & my guitar solo show.I have my rig to just one trip/ cart, 15 min set up.So this is simple lighting.Lots of bang for buckIts light.Soo Easy to add in my gear cart.Works straight out of the box .Just plug in.Dont need to read any directions.It adds no time to set up my rigWorth every pennyIts the easiest thing ever to set up for show, takes me less than 15 secI set it on auto lightLooks professional on stage even though it's small, for a single act less is more!!!

Ordered 1st time and it arrived broken. Recieved replacement today and it was also broken. Instead of sending that one back I took it upon myself to fix it. The problem both times is the led globe is attached to a small motor that rotates on a central hub, and from what it looks like is that very center piece of the hub is extremely fragile and is either damaged in the packing or shipping process. I took the whole thing apart, and superglued the hub back on to the center, and put it all together and it works fine. Not everyone is mechanically knowledgeable though, so if you recieve one of these, and one or two of the diffiuser balls doesnt spin, it is almost guaranteed broken right there.

This lightweight easy to assemble light has come in handy for small venue events for a personal DJ. Delivery was fast, and it was well packaged. Would recommend

The colors and lighting itself is actually pretty decent. They definitely give off a lot of color and "span" when I'm doing a gig. However, I was out of state on work for over 7 full days and just tried to return it. Found out I was 2 days outside of the return date window :( Even though the tripod stand is garbage the lights themselves are good and the only positive comment I can give.The tripod stand is CHEAP JUNK!! Set up the very first time with no problems whatsoever. When I went to set it up the 2nd time it was a completely different story!! The screws are extremely cheap and would not tighten after one use. So basically one time and they're stripped :(I can extend and tighten the "body" of the screws and get those tight, so it will stand tall, but the most important part is the base of the tripod at the bottom and it will NOT tighten so I have to prop it up, etc. and its extremely time consuming when Im trying to get my other equipment setup as well all by myself.Now that I can't return it, I'm going to have to have my husband put some screws in it so I can actually use it safely. Once he adds the screws I won't be able to "break down" the tripod anymore and it will take up more space then needed in my Kia Soul. Definitely wouldn't waste your 100 bucks!!

The media could not be loaded. These lights are very bright and perform very nicely for small to medium applications. The sound mode is neat because it switches modes with the music. The standard mode allows you to cycle through PAR lights, Disco Ball mode, Random, and Strobe. It’s very easy to set up and super light weight. I would definitely get a couple more and run them together for more coverage.
