Wu Block

This is a strange album. Being two of my favorite groups, I kinda knew it wouldn't be classic. That's what history tells us. Just because two things are great exclusively doesn't mean they will be super great together.It wasn't executed properly. It was an album of D-block and Wu members, NOT a D-block and Wu-Tang album if you catch the idea. It affirmed what we already know. 1. Both groups members are still MASTERS at this rap thing And 2. Sheek Louch is a beast.That said, IT STILL IS A GOOD ALBUM!!! Both crews are professionals at what they do. No groups have consistently been as good as these dudes. They just know how to rap well, flows, cadence, pauses. Their second rate rap would be considered classic material to most of today's artists.It has a bunch of not enuffs/not anys tho.Not enough GZA: His complex style could have been used more properlyNot enough Styles P: (As in Quality) Like someone already said, these are not his best verses. He has set his bar SO Incredibly HIGH, it must be difficult to maintain.Not enough Jadakiss: Wu got like 300 members. Jada needed to be on this more.Not any RZA: his unique production would have thrown this project into a higher orbital.And of course, ODB is missing.HighlightsMethod sounds great for the short appearance he has. I mean bring the pain good.Sheek just continues to hit 400 ft home runs in empty stadiums. His verses are flawless.Ghostface is equally good. I didn't appreciate him back in the 90s but he is def All-Pro.

The WUBLOCK album is real hip hop. All you will find on this album is lyrics and beats just how hiop hop is supposed to be. No catchy hooks or anyone singing. So if yu cannot appreciate real hip hop music and real lyrics this album is not for you. But your like me and want to hear some real lyrics and real mc's go back and forth you gonna love this album! Ghost, Raekwon, Sheek, Jada, Meth, Styles P! Cmon! You gotta be kidding me! Tru perfection on the mic......

From fast paced hits like been robbed, to indisputable gems like driving round, this is a great album. I give it 4 stars because after listening, to even the fist 3 songs you relaize it's really a ghostface and shekel ouch album. Featuring WU members of course. But none the less it's something I consider to be worthy of my time.

This is a pretty good album between two of hip hop's highly respected rap groups (and my favorites),my only problem is not having enough variety in artist except for GZA,Cappadonna and Masta Killah from Wu-Tang and Styles P spit some mediocre verses in my opinion but overall the beats are suitable,the rhymes are hardbody and it's great to see vets goin in for NY street rap.

If you are a Wu-Tang FAN FOR Real, you'll love this album. Even though there are key members missing, it is Wu Music straight off the Block. When listening to this I thought I was listening and almost seeing the 1990's. Also, It solidifies Ghostface Killah's Crown for the best living M.C.... Disagree? This album features two of the best rap groups of the early 90s coming tgthr. Hard bars, gritty and soulful beats. If you are a real hip hop head and are tired of the mush mouth dirty south rap buy this album.

This is definitley a decent buy when it comes to rap albums. Many albums that come out today may have one or two good songs. I can say that 2/3rds of this album are bangers. Wu will never fall off.

As a big fan of Ghostface and a fan of the Lox this album is amazing. Every song is at least decent and there are a few real headraisers. A definite buy

You know what your getting with these artists. Solid 90's style flow and beats. Nothing especially stand out on the album but good in general.

alors voila le fameux wu block regroupant quelques membre du wu et quelques membre du d block que dire pour commencer je m'attendez a du plus lourd de la a dire que ces moyen non loin de la mais bon meme si les flows des different mc sont bien en osmose je suis quand meme un peu decu des prods qui parfois ne sont pas excellente bref un bon son mais avec un mais dommage le ghostface va mettre je pense tous le mondes d'accord dans quelques jours

ウータンと旧ロックス。90年代から活躍してる所謂ヒップホップレジェンド。目新しさゼロ。でもその時代を過ごした人には堪らない組み合わせ、悪いわけがない。90年代を過ごした人には安心して聴けて、最も馴染む音。これはこれでいいと思う。あの時代の音を期待する人は買っても後悔はないと思う。

やっぱりstreetは良いね! 古き良きニュースクール的な!! もしくは90'S的な!! アルバム全体的にsheekがキャラ立ちしまくってる。 シンセとかWackなLil Wayneなんか目じゃねぇよ!! 世界のHeadzいい加減目醒ませ!?
