I was able to connect to the unit with Bluetooth just fine but it would not connect with my 2003 Chevy's ECU. I tried multiple apps free and paid but nothing would work. I tested my port with a friends pro scanner and it had no problem linking so I'm going to have to assume this unit is faulty.

'Check Engine' lights are not great, so when you've got one, you want it gone. If you are a DIYer or a garage mechanic, this is for you.I ended hooking mine up through the app with Bluetooth, it wasn't too rough until I found that more features were behind a pay wall in the app.The extra features are worth it. Live diagnostics of more than what's offered by the free version and no ads, it's a win-win.Using the scanner with the accompanied app helped me live diagnose my car and find out a few issues that were signaling the Check Engine Light.Again, if you're a home, mobile, or garage mechanic? Thoroughly recommend, with the caveat that the paid version of the accompanied app is considerably better.

Works as advertised and depending on the app, easy to use so much so this is the 5th one purchased

Finally got a chance to use this thing. My brother in laws car had a bad coolant hose so it started over heating and of course threw the check engine light. I had a local mechanic fix it which did solve the actual issue, but he didn't reset the light, which wasn't a big deal because the car was functioning properly. Well fast forward a couple months later, my brother in law visits and I'm thinking to myself "this is a perfect time to finally try this thing out". So I have him install the app, I plug the device into his car, the app had no issue finding the device, and sure enough, all of the readings were for weak coolant flow and everything else related to that leak he had prior. So as far as I'm aware, it's pretty accurate. I reset the light in a matter of seconds and all is well in the world now. Highly recommend this to anyone who works on their own vehicles or has a shop.

Did not work at all, the software took forever to download and then would not connect. I have an android tablet I tried to use and after several attempts to connect I gave up.

Too complicated. There are scanners out there that are much easier to decipher information.
