Biopop Dino Food

Keeps the dinos glowing. Just wish it wasn't so expensive to feed them after paying a decent price to buy the gift in the first place.

BioPop is closed now :( So sad!

This is the standard dino food for your dinopets from biopop. It is a perfect concoction because a couple of days after adding it to your aquarium, the dinopets multiply like crazy. The only issue is that it is SO EXPENSIVE for what the price is. ~$20 is a lot for a month supply of food. One reason why it is so costly is that it comes in priority mail. Still, it is very expensive for what it is worth. I am currently looking for alternatives.

This whole thing is very cool for a few days, but it is also a giant scam. They don't tell you how much it will cost you to feed the Dinos with their product. I feel bad to let the Dinos die, but they cost over $20 per month to feed as directed. When you buy the original package for $70 or so, they carefully do not tell you how much it will cost to keep it alive. On top of that, the amount of food in these bags is a false advertisement that it will last for6 weeks 2 months. It is only enough for one feeding (so 10 days) if done as directed. I would not buy this unless you have a lot of disposable income.

Over the course of two years that I have had my two pets - these silent yet beautiful bacteria have slowly but surely becomes as precious to me as any playful loud puppy would be. My husband and I have regular purchase food and aquariums from BioPop and it has never failed. Today I had the chance to speak to a representative from the team and it was a wonderful interactions!Love love love BioPop! Keep at it!

Liked the bag that it came in and it was easy to use!

I am not sure how to go about this, as I am shocked by what I saw today. But first I will say that my three star rating is primarily due to the fact that over time, I feel like the volume/amount of Dino food I've been receiving in each bag has decreased over time. When I placed my first order, I was able to feed three times from one bag, but now I can only do 1-1/2-2 feedings with one bag, and the bags do seem considerably less full by visual inspection. But the reason I am shocked today is this: the pamphlet that came with my Dino says to wash your hands well before opening and dealing with the organisms, so as not to contaminate them with our icky germs. But when I cracked open the seal on a new bag of Dino food today, there was (I'm not kidding) a HAIR sticking out of the opening. It was about 3/8" long, dark, and curly with one end stuck to the inside of the spout and the other end protruded out when the cap was pulled off. I couldn't believe my eyes. No one in my household has hair like that. Talk about contamination! Can anyone explain how this could happen?? Are these bags of Dino food really worth fifteen bucks each? I've been feeding this thing since Christmas.

Take whatever cash you have in your wallet and light it on fire rather than wasting your money on this product. Bought the DinoPop as a gift, everything come separate and after ordering everything it never worked. Now we have a bag of goo and a cheap orb and $150 total we’ll never get back.
