Scraperite Plastice Razor Blades - 25 Multi Pack

They work. Don't expect metal blade results, but for working on surfaces you don't want to damage these may be what you need. I used them to remove some very old adhesive left over from a wrap around body decal on our older Airstream travel trailer. This stuff was twenty years old and had been left by a previous owner who decided to remove the 6" wide decal but never cleaned off all of the backing adhesive, leaving a very dirty 6" wide strip all the way around our 29' Airstream. I bought these blades and scraper after struggling with some very strong chemicals and scrub pads that I used to remove most of the adhesive from one side. It did to much damage to the original finish so I decided to go another way. Using the scraper, some of these blades, a quart of denatured alcohol and shop numerous shop towels I removed the rest. It still took about 8 hours, but it did far less damage. The blades are color coded and it tell you on the package which ones are harder, etc. From first hand experience I can tell you it's true. The softer blades are much less likely to scratch. They cannot really be resharpened effectively so consider them disposable as you would metal blades. Good luck.

Decent multipack to see whats out there. The oranges were spectacular. The yellow blades are worse than useless, and borderline dangerous.Orange Blades: Awesome. Perfect for everything I need, wish the whole set were orange. The Scraperite orange blades are the best plastic razors I've used (Ive tried four brand so far). They hold their edge very well.Blue Blades: Decent, softer than the Orange, so they dont hold the edge as long. I use these for smaller or infrequent jobs so that I can save the orange blades.Yellow Blades: Utter garbage. The first three literally shattered within the first five passes, and the rest went into the trash.

I removed 35 mirrors (12” X 12”) from 4 closet doors, leaving behind 140 pieces of double sided tape. I couldn’t find a single chemical that would take the double sided tape off (and I tried a bunch of chemicals). I knew a metal razor would scratch the finish off the doors so I decided to give these razors a try. The yellow razor blade worked the best of the 3 colors. It took some elbow grease, but the double sided tape came off the doors with the razor and didn’t damage the finish on the doors.

I have found many uses for these. Anything you don't want scratched these are perfect. Glass, Corian, automotive paint. When the edges get dull just get another one, they are cheap.

I bought these to strip off some old tape pin-striping on an old Ford Explorer and with a little heat gun these work pretty good. You must clean the dirt off first or else you run the risk of pushing the grit in the dirt around and scratching the paint. I do wish the handle was slightly bigger to make it a little easier for my big clumsy hands to hold it.A good thing to have in your tool kit around the house.

Hard to believe that plastic razor blades was all I needed for removing old decals from plastic panels without damaging the surface of the panels. I've also used them for cleaning off baked in food droppings on smooth top stoves, although the old steel ones work a bit better these are safer to use.

These plastic razor blades with the mini holder for them worked perfectly within the inside of my wheel to remove the existing wheel weight glue/adhesive. I like that there are multiple 'hardness' levels for the blades, some bend and some do not. Great price too!

Good pack for the price, but they were a little softer than I was expecting. I used them to clean up surfaces in an automotive environment and I went through the blades very fast. But they worked, so I cannot be upset.
