Nice connector, but has some construction issues
I needed a cable to convert from a SMA antenna connector to a 3.5mm jack on a portable radio. It functions for that purpose. The only issue with the cable is the metal jacket around the 3.5mm plug wiring, it is constantly coming loose and needs to be re-tightened.Not the best build quality, but it works.

Flimsy Piece of Junk Ruined My Eton
Plugged it into my Eton Executive and the plug immediately separated from the wire. Thanks to this cheap POS I now have an expensive AM/FM tuner instead of a shortwave. In my experience: the build quality is crap. Use at your own risk.

Works but delicate?
It works great. I'm going straight from the Diamond discone antenna into my Eton Elite Executive. I'm pulling in tons of channels. Docked it a bit because I'm not sure how long it will last. I moved the little cover by accident and saw into the guts of the plug. It's just a tiny solder. With my lifestyle I'm afraid it will just snap.

Good For Light Duty
As with most SMA connectors & cables, their small size makes them easily damaged with moderate or professional use.HAM suppliers sell professional grade, but cost several times more.

Well made
I've read product reviews giving widely differing reports of this item's quality. I found it well made. The phone plug end has a spring strain relief, and can be unscrewed for inspection. My examination showed the center connector cleanly soldered and the shield crimped. It's possible that it could be crimped tighter, but it looks right as it is.The SMA end is secured firmly by heat shrink tubing and so it could not be inspected, but it seemed quite secure. Continuity testing confirmed that the cable was working, and not shorted out.I have tested this cable connecting a portable radio to a MLA-30+ loop antenna and it worked well for this application.
