Foam Axe

It's light, and it's all plastic, but the metallic painted hammer part is made of a foamy rubber material. So you can lightly hit someone playfully, and it won't do any harm. However, I wouldn't want to play with it too much as the handle screws into the foam base which has a plastic socket. The handle does come with a strap, but I wouldn't trust it too much. For cheap cosplay it's great, looks excellent for the price. Good for display purposes as well. But if you want something heavy-duty look elsewhere.

This is a great hammer and I loved carrying it around! It wasn't too heavy and the kids could play with it without breaking.

This Thor's hammer was perfect for my 12 y.o.'s Thor costume for Comic con. Was the addition we needed to complete his cosplay outfit. He was really happy with it and had asked specifically for one with a strap, which proved useful.

Great prop…..it’s made of foam so if safety is a concern, it’s a winner. True to size but not heavy at all. I recommend it.

While it does look and feel like a toy, this thing is actually really good quality. Hitting my hand with it and I feel all most nothing, but hit in the forehead and I could definitely tell I got hit! Not in any sense a replacement for traditional self defense items, but if you're doing a Thor cosplay then you can definitely whack Loki a few times without fear that it will fall apart. 10/10, definitely recommend for those that are looking for this kind of thing.
