Susie Q's Santa Maria Style Pinquito Beans

Great product and always fresh

Since living in the Lompoc/Samta Maria, California, area, I've loved these little beans. Suzy-Q's makes it very easy to get the Pinquito beans, which we use for the big tournaments of our Cribbage Club. Worth every cent, packaged well, and always in good order.

I used to live in Santa Maria. Miss the old town and the Santa Maria BBQ that I remember from over 60 years ago. I make my own version now. Pretty good, almost as good as the old pros made...

It would have been extremely helpful if a recipe using these beans was included.

I knew this was a large size container of pinquito beans, but it turned out to be bigger than I expected. A little goes a long way with these dried pinquito beans - they expand quite a bit when cooked.Note that this product is just the beans - Susie Q also makes an excellent pinquito bean seasoning, but it doesn't seem to be for sale here on Amazon.

We enjoyed them a great deal, made a perfect batch of Santa Maria beans. I did soak overnight.
