Leave it to ACCO/Swingline to fill the gap in the market. I was looking for a hole punch that was worthy of being used in an executive office and this was the only one that didn't look like it belonged in a basement mailroom.

There are 3 depths this can punch (how close the hole is to the endof the paper)...without the gray separators, and the separators turned one way, or the other. You can also change how high or low the holes will be on the paper...you can change out the punches if they get dull, and you can move them for 2 hole punching as well. And it tears through 40 pages with no problems. highly reccomend it.

Used in an office environment and we bought it because it seemed heavier duty than the normal hole pun. Plus it's holes punched were slightly larger than normal which made binding easier. The first one we had to send back because the bottom hole punch tray would not stay on, and the second one just quit working 4 months later. I always thought Swingline was one of the most respected office product line, but apparently their decision to make them in China has resulted in an inferior product. Actually less than one star.

I purchased this puncher 1 week ago, I had to spend 1 hour fixing it. After punching 50-70 sheets, one of the punch heads got stuck, and would not budge. I had to take this thing apart to get it loose. Noticed the hole was not of the same size, a miniscule smaller, so I took my dremmel, and started shaving some metal off, now it works ok. The manufacturing quality is very poor, did not expect this from swingline.

This is a great 3 hole punch. Only problem with it is those grey things in the back which are paper stops. They work while they stay put but they fall out especially when you are emptying the tray. I have had to tear a huge trash can apart looking for one of these (found it) but this time I have permanently lost one to the dump (no I'm not going there to look for it). Now I can't use the punch until I come up with a paper stop. Found one chop stick that it is a perfect fit but now I need a second one to jam in there. Anybody getting my point. There has got to be a better way than this clumsy paper stop. Five stars for the punch and 2 stars less for the paper stop.
