Great product for rust proofing and protection of metal components and car/machinery parts and considered good value.

I have used Waxoyl for may years, mainly for protecting the underside of my cars, but also for many other uses. For example, I have used it on the iron plummer block bearings on a peal of church bells and associated metal stays on the bell wheels; on my gardening tools and petrol mower over the winter and to protect practically any metal (particularly iron and steel) items like hand tools and padlocks on external applications. My 13 year old Honda Accord has been annually treated since new and my garage man advises other car owners to follow this example. As well as protecting the body work the underside mechanicals are always much easier to work on as they are not rusted up. I whole-heartedly endorse this product which has proved itself over many years and which has saved me much expense.

To anyone unfamiliar with this stuff, it's like gloopy wax that when you put it on metal with a brush or thin and spray it, eventually it goes hard like candle wax and seals the metal preventing corrosion. The 5L tins are cheaper per volume than smaller sizes and its useful for protecting metal things if you live in a rust inducing environment like damp UK and/or near the sea. There are similar products around that work on grease/oil coating. Steam cleaning will remove waxoyl should you ever want it gone.

Good stuff but needs to be heated up to spray on

Does what it says on the tin. Needs to be used in very warm weather when it it's self is warm and will spray or brush on easily. Avoid contact with interior materials and seat belt webbing.
