Great little outdoor lights but tricky for adding to decks
I'm so in love with these little lights. I didn't use them for me deck, I instead used them for my garden and water fountain area. I was looking for lights to go around it and really couldn't find the right one until I gave these a try. I wasnt sure they'd work as it was hard to tell how they connect so I took pics so you can see if they'll work for whatever project you have in mind. Each light is an individual light with two connectors. These plug into the light in either side of it forming a chain until you reach the last light you'll use and then you plug it into the power adapter which is included. I wasn't sure how big these were either but I added pics to show you that they're a little smaller than a k cup coffee pod. I was going to set these in the k cups actually but my husband said they'd be better on their own (I was placing them between rocks in the crevice of the rocks. There's little prongs on each light to keep them in the little hole you create too. The lights are outdoor rated and waterproof and is another reason why I wanted these lights. I put a timer on them so that they're not running during the day, I got one in amazon for $7 and it works well with these lights. I'll take pictures at night and come back to add a picture. I've only had them for about a week so I'll be sure to update after a month or more to let you know if they're still working. Anyway, these worked out perfectly for me and we'll be adding deck lights later now that I saw how great these would work. The only thing with our deck is that we may have to crawl under it to connect the wires and I'm not sure there's enough room to get under there so that may be difficult to add these lights if that's your issue too. I think an alternative would be to add them to a railing instead since the wiring would be easier to get to or of course add them when building the deck would make it easier to hookup.

Perfect LED Deck lights pack.
I installed them in the stairs of our back door. They were easy to install, you just have to previously plan how you'll run the wires and the power source. The brightness is strong (ligth reaches the soffit of our second fl exterior). As I wanted them to turn on automaticaly, I bought a separate outlet with a light sensor that makes the work much easier. Living in NJ, it has lasted all the rain we have here in summer, I will have to check how it does with all the snow in winter. Really love this product. I would totally recommend it.

Fantastic lights makes backyard resort glow at night
We designed and built a 40 ft. x 8 ft. deck in our backyard resort to provide a "terrace level" overlooking the pool and lower seating oasis. We installed these lights into the decking along the front and back edge offset horizontally (a back light is midway between two front lights). We also retrofitted our solar wall hanging fixtures and installed these lights hardwired to the deck lights. They are on two separate circuits so we can have the back wall lights on with the front railing lights off and vice versa. We also used these to illuminate the rocks of the waterfall at the far end (not the up lights under the water). Super easy installation. Everyone who comes over marvels at our resort and resort lighting.

Beautiful touch to my massive deck design/build
I installed 48 total lights on my deck build (actually need about 6-8 more). I'm obviously not finished with it in the pic, but shows the lights well in the dark. I'm curious to see how well they hold up. My only concern is the power supply. So far so good. Riddle me this......The DC converter says 8w Max, yet each light is .6w, so doing some math, the single box of 16 lights totals out to be 9.6w (16x.6). Why sell a kit of 16 lights with a power converter that will not run them all? No notes in the package stating "don't use more than 13 lights on one converter" or anything like that. Yet in Q&A some said one power supply can run 3 sets (that's 48 lights!). I'll see how it goes and update as such. I'd have to buy an additional DC power converter in order to run all the lights at once if my math is correct(anyone please feel free to verify my math please). I only plugged them in temporarily for the photo. Anyone else have issues overloading the DC Converter running more than 13 lights?

Nice set of 16, easy to install, perfect for decks
I bought these little LED lights to put in the back yard. We are trying to build a porch and these are perfect for them. These are recessed lights and in order to use them, you need to drill a hole in the wood and attach the cables to connect the lights. They are detachable and easy to install. There are 16 lights that come in this pack. They were well packaged and easy to open. These are bright LED llights have a warm glow and perfect for outside. These have copper connectors that are really durable and weatherproof. I love these for the back yard! I hope that this review has been helpful for you!

Great little lights
My deck is now about 6-7 years old and the led's on the risers are burning out and look horrible. The company that built the deck had previously drilled 7/8" holes for the LED's they installed. I looked at various riser lights including Trex and all seemed to require a 1" hole which would be a real issue not to mention 8 Trex lights will set you back several hundred dollars. Furthermore, I already have a 200W Hampton Bay transformer for my deck and garden lighting. Ordered these expecting a cheaply made product but it was one of the few I found that would fit a 7/8" hole. Boy was I wrong about being cheaply made. These are great little lights. I did not use their connection system since my previous lights were all wired using outdoor wire twist connectors. I just cut the connectors off of one plug per light, stripped the insulation, connected it to the wiring already there and done. The other wire on the light just hangs there and is not used in my installation. Maybe someday I will wire it up using their system as it is a lot cleaner if you need to replace a light, but for now, my riser lighting is working great and these little gems are truly awesome. And best part is for less than 50 bucks I now have 8 additional backup lights. Now its time to pressure wash the deck.

While the product is well made, easy to install, I have a comment on the transport of my second purchase of the product. How come my first order arrived in 3 or 4 days, while this took almost a month? Not to mention that the tracking was very off on this item - I checked the day before yesterday, and it was not even shipped? Having arrived in an Amazon box, does it mean that it fell "between cracks"?

Good looking lights. Easy to install. Purchased a second set. Has not endured winter yet, so will see how it fairs then. Only suggestion is to have a remote to turn on and off. As it stands, you have to plug in and unplug when you want the lights on and/or off. Can’t beat the price.
