This has been my go-to light for grilling in the dark or camping. It's well-built, easily adjustable, rechargeable and has one feature that I REALLY like: a hands-free activation that is turned on by a hand gesture in front of your face. So far the battery life has been more than adequate, as is the light throw (which has a high and low setting). The unit even comes off the head mount and can be mounted on a piece of ferrous metal with the magnets on back.A couple of things I'm not a fan of:1) This is by no means tactical in any real world sense. The glow-in-the-dark element gives away your position2) I wish it had a red light function to save night vision when you don't want to use the daylight-temp, low settings3) Occasionally, any reflective surface will cause the infrared sensor to shut it off while using itOutside of these three complaints, this thing is a camper's friend.

This light is compact (the picture showing it held in hand is to provide perspective on its size) and lightweight, but still feels solidly constructed. It is bright enough to light up a decent size work area, and the magnets are a convenient addition (one picture shows it attached to my refrigerator). When working under the hood of a car I often find my work light sliding or falling over - this one can be attached to the hood where it will stay put! And the stand allows it to sit on its own as well.I picked this up for 3 intended uses. First, I can always use a good worksite light, and this one fills that need. Second, I like to keep lights on hand for emergency preparedness. I live in an area where storms can pop up fairly quickly, so power loss is always a possibility. Having a dependable light (I am diligent about keeping my rechargeable devices charged, especially during storm season) is very important. And with my solar charger I could keep this one going at night and charging during the days. The last use I had intended was to light a storage unit. I have items stored in a facility that isn't always the best lit. This light will allow me to see my way around there.I don't have a problem with the micro USB connection used to charge this device. I have numerous electronics that still use that format, so I have plenty of those charging cables lying around. The lighting selections are high, low and strobe. With the tactical flashlights I own strobe is usually touted as being an effective way to disorient an attacker. I'm not sure if that was what the designer of this light had in mind, or if it was instead intended to attract attention in the event of an emergency, but regardless it is available for either purpose.I find this a good addition to my portable light and lamp collection.

Seriously.. this little thing is incredible.The output is bright. The battery last crazy long. Between the magnet on the back and the angle adjustment I can place this just about anywhere around or under my car and see absolutely everything. Small enough for fit literally anywhere.Buy 2. They’re excellent.

Only need one button really for what I wanted but they seem to be hard to fine. Plug flap came off in a few mths but other than that gets me by

Awesome product. Made well. Good brightness.It’s worth mentioning that the material surrounding the LED is glow in the dark. I bought this light for hunting so this is not optimal for me. Also if I were to use in a tactical situation (IE home defense) it paints a target on your forehead if you turn the light off. Effectively giving away your position. For this reason I also disliked the red light that comes on if you turn on the wave function for power.Also you can not adjust the Angle of the light.This would honestly be the PERFECT product IMO if the light’s angle was adjustable and there was no glow in the dark material. The removal of the red light would also be a plus for me.

Love it it works better than I thought for the price and I will buy more for my family

Battery life and durability is great

The light is bright which is good. However, it didn’t work long before messing up. It never stays on even when I charge it. It’s very gentle, and tends to cut off if you move too fast. At first I thought it was a feature that allowed me to tap the light to cut it off. It wasn’t long before I realized that wasn’t the case and that the light just isn’t any good. Another disappointment I had is that the light isn’t adjustable. So in order to see certain places I would have to constantly move. Which is sometimes hard to do under a truck in tight places. With that being said I wouldn’t recommend anyone but it, or anything else from the spec opps brand. I also have a tape measure from them as well that was also a disappointment. Now they both just sit in my toolbox taking up space.

This headlight is fantastic. It works great. I love the extra features (adjust the light to angle up or down and you can wave you hand in front of the light to turn on and off.
