PLEASE read my review! This product is head and shoulders above the rest. Perfect really. I purchased TWO other magnifying glasses prior to this one and they were either TOO BIG, TOO HEAVY, Not enough power, Useless shape etc. THIS product gives you the best of all options. It's not too big, not too heavy and you can switch lenses depending on the situation. I noticed today that you CAN order 3 different lenses. I use mine EVERY DAY for either my iPhone 6 or iPod newest generation. SOooooooooo helpful. Although I don't need the LED lights much I keep the product nearby for a quick light for taking pills or other things such as FINDING my phone in the dark. HA ha. Seriously, this is THE product to buy. Don't be dumb and try to install 2 batteries just because that's what this battery compartment "looks like". READ the directions, 3 batteries please. They're EASY to install as are the other lenses. Manufacturer provides a quality lens cleaner and pouch as well. You CAN't go wrong with this one. DON'T buy the HUGE 2X product. It's TOO BIG and TOO heavy for almost any use. The tiny 10X bubble is useless in my opinion. Thanks for reading. Wish I had purchased this one FIRST! Have you bought something that turned out to be way better than you expected? I love to buy gadgets, even though mostly they turn out to be cheap, shoddily made disappointments. Not so here. This magnifying glass is EXCELLENT. The makers have thought of everything that I might need and supplied it. For many years, I've kept a cheap dollar-store magnifying glass at my desk for small print. A few weeks ago, I went to read the fine print on a coupon, and could not make it out. I hauled out my el cheapo magnifying glass, only to find it so scratched-up and lousy that it didn't help at all. So, I went to Amazon to find a good one. Boy, did I find a good one. I bought this one. The glass portion is clear and strong. The LCD lights you can turn on to brighten up the target of your magnifying work perfectly. It comes with a 10X lens you can pop in to replace the larger 5X lens if needed. And--an evidence that they've thought of everything to make this magnifier a long-term satisfier--they've provided a soft draw-string pouch to keep it from getting all scratched up. I predict that this one magnifying glass will serve my needs for the rest of my life. I'll have to change the batteries for the lights now and again, but that's all. I heartily recommend this magnifying glass.

I just received this today. I would have given it 5 stars except for the difficulty I had in placing the batteries, or even opening the battery case for that matter. I almost was going to send it back until after about 30 minutes I finally got it opened. Then trying to figure out how to put the batteries in was another hassle. After the third try I got it to work. It works great. I love the LED lights which enhance visibility. I have another magnifying glass that I always had to hold up near a light. This is perfect. I would urge the manufacturer or the seller to send better instructions on battery placement and how to open the battery case itself.. I needed to use my other magnifier to see which way to place the batteries and still couldn't see it very well. I imagine I just guessed right the third time. Otherwise I really like it. It is lightweight and perfect for the kitchen. It shipped promptly and was nicely packaged.

I am getting on in years. (I just got Medicare.) My eyes aren't what they used to be. I have problems reading in low light and reading small print. This magnifying glass is great. The magnification is good and increases when you move away from the object. It is made well and has a nice feel and weight. The packaging implies that many don't know how to put the batteries in, but it wasn't any sort of problem to do so. I looked over several of the magnifying glasses and chose this one and I think I made the right choice. The manufacturer clearly cares about the product. It sent me a bunch of emails asking if I was satisfied and offered assistance if I needed it. I've bought a bunch of stuff on Amazon and never had a manufacturer show its desire to please like this one. I have a couple of minor criticisms if the manufacturer is listening: (a) While the LEDs on the item are acceptable and very helpful, personally I would prefer one or two more LED lights with perhaps a larger spread - or to have the two already on it brighter; and (b) I think I'd prefer the glass to be about an inch bigger. I use it primarily for reading the newspaper and, while acceptable, the scope of vision is a little tighter than I'd like. Regardless, I am more than satisfied.
