it’s a little finicky to use because i have to attach the phone holder to my phone and then mount the phone to the part attached to the bike, but this gives me freedom to have my phone out of the holder when i’m not going to bike — which i wanted. this twist-style mount and the phone holder and the piece that attaches to my bike are all incredibly secure attachments when i’m using it (i hybrid ride, so sometimes it gets pretty bumpy). overall i am very pleased.

SP makes great stuff. The don't have a case for the Flip4 so this works fine doesn't slip and you can walk with it or leave it on rhe bike. This deal was great, plain white packaging saved $10 from best other prices direct or on Amazon.

I still think it's a great product but everything hinging on 2 small tiny plastic tabs isn't the way it should be a metal on metal lock connection not flimsy plastic to metal or more flimsy plastic.

Easy to install sturdy clamp

The simple design works very well for what I do (mostly trails)I do not think the mount would be resistant enough for downhill but it is perfect for trails or climbs.Love the fact I can leave the mount on the bike and simply untight the phone from it with a single hand.

I thought it was useful first, I liked it until it came off easily during my second ride from its socket while waiting on a red light after leaning forward on my bike a bit over the phone, and fell to the pavement almost breaking my phone. If those two railings sit inside the socket that’s fine, but they come off while the little clamp at the center is locked on, and there’s no way I can rotate it back to the open position so I can put it back on. Even with a tool, I used all sorts of stuff in my garage to push and rotate it (hence the damage on the plastic), but it’s impossible to fix it. It’s a good idea, so have it two stars, but it’s a dangerously incomplete product. If they respond with a way to fix it that I couldn’t figure out myself I might consider omitting this review, but I tried everything, and it’s just a dead product for me at the moment.

I was clotheslined while riding and my eBike thru a unmarked parking lot. After brushing myself off and looking around for a YouTube opportunist, I was elated to discover that my stem mounted phone was still safely where I attached it. * I added an aftermarket rubber harness, but honestly, I know that wasn’t what kept my phone secure. It was the mount. I’d definitely buy another.
