Aladdin 3 Collapsible Bowl Set - 4oz , 16oz , 32oz, Purple, Yellow, Red

Quite impressed. These bowls are very sturdy and the cover screws into the top of the bowl. I used the yellow one to transport my oatmeal to work. It holds one and one-half cup of my oatmeal. The eggplant color bowl is small and the orange one I have not used yet, but it is a medium size. The colors are really nice. I got a lemon green instead of yellow. I really like these bowls and so I ordered another set.

I bought this set primarily to take lunches to work. After reading other reviews I knew that the smaller bowls would not fit into the larger one if they were all collapsed but decided to give the set a try anyway.After using this set for a week, being unable to nest all three bowls when collapsed is more irritating than I thought it would be. The two smaller bowls do nest into the larger one, but only if the larger one is not collapsed. So a bit less space is used by the set on my way home since the two smaller bowls aren't "loose", but I can't help wondering WHY the design wasn't tweaked a bit so that they could nest when the larger bowl is collapsed. I assume that if the larger bowl were a bit larger it would be possible.It seems to me that being able to nest all three when collapsed would be something many people would want. Obviously I do--and not just for transport to/from work. I have a rather small kitchen and storage space is at a premium.Because of the nesting issue, I think these bowls are merely okay. Which is too bad, because otherwise they are great. They collapse easily and I haven't had any problems with the lids.As far as the lids go, two things that others might find helpful:1) If collapsing a "used" bowl, make sure that it is relatively clean. Anything that is in the bowl (liquids, etc.) has a tendency to fly out when collapsing. It's just the way these collapsible things work. I've found that putting a napkin in the bowl can help.2) As some other reviewers have noted, don't try to unscrew lids if the bowls have just been heated. Doesn't work. Either unscrew the lid a bit before heating or let it cool off. Also, it's a bit difficult to unscrew the lids if they are wet. So it helps to remove lids before washing.

These containers are extremely handy and transport well if you have a roomy bag.They are virtually non-spill, great for storing and transporting leftovers, particularly if you mean to reheat in the microwave. Just remember to follow the instructions (duh!)and REMOVE THE LID when heating - or they'll rip at the seams and become leaky. Yes, I'm speaking from experience...I keep them around for restaurant leftovers: They don't take up too much space on the way to eating out and I can keep the salad, sauce and entree separate to eat later. No waste, no mess and less dishes to wash. The sizes are good for this purpose.My only complaint: They don't truly nest when folded, a design flaw they share with many other expandable bowls I've come across.

Love these bowls. Never had any issue with them spilling or leaking. Love that they flatten down to smaller size which makes packing them back up easier. They are easy to clean and I do not find them hard to open as some people have said. There is a notch on the lid that makes opening it a little bit easier, so no issue there.I do wish that they sold the two bigger bowls separately as I would be interested in getting a couple more. The smaller one is really only good for small storage like for a dressing... I don't find myself using the smallest size often.I love that these can be used in the microwave although I try to use them in a bowl if possibly. I would definitely buy again and recommend.

Great concept. But silicon band comes out or extends when closing the lids.

These are so much smaller than I expected!! Cute yes, but no way worth the price!! Would not purchase again!!

Great for camping, very compact, great item. This is great for either a camper or tenting. I camp in a tent and I have a large pack pack with every thing I need for the kitchen, Every thing is collapsible and fits in so compact. I even have a kitchen wash bin. These are are great addition, very sturdy, collapses easy and compact. They come in 3 sizes with lids, they are very handy to have, you always need a bowl for something and if not they are not taking up any room. They are light weight too. I keep all my camping gear in two back packs and both of them my tent, mattress, and Colman grill stay in the trunk of my car all summer, just pack clothes and go

Very firm collapsible part. It takes a firm hand to pop them out and squish back down again, so it doesn't feel like they will spontaneously collapse while using them. The lids screw on, which is brilliant, and are slightly transparent (different material then the bowl)! I haven't tested them for being water tight or leakage. The colors are bright without being garish. Small makes a good size for snacks (mini marshmallows, for example) Medium is good size for cereal or soup for one. Large size is good for hungrier cereal eaters and as a mixing bowl (4 scrambled eggs, for example). I bought two sets for use in our rv that has limited storage.
