2023 F-150 Powerboost -- It Works!
I purchased this to use with my 23 F150 Powerboost and I was able to program it myself and it works with full functionality. It looks exactly the same at the stock Key Fob and it has all of the same buttons. I had two already functioning key fobs (this was the third), so I was able to program it at home using the "backup slot" under the rubber base in one of the front cup holders. There is a great "how to" video from @programyourremote.com on YouTube that covers DIY programming for 2018-2024 Ford F-150.To program:1. Place one of your 2 already functioning fobs in the backup slot and press the start/stop button (without your foot on the brake).2. Once the vehicle stops dinging, push the start/stop button again and remove the first fob.3. Place the second already functioning fob in the backup slot and press the start/ stop button (without your foot on the brake).4. Once the vehicle stops dinging, push the start/stop button again and remove the second fob.5. Place the newly-purchased and unprogrammed fob in the backup slot and press the start/stop button (without your foot on the brake). The vehicle programmed the fob and I heard the doors lock and unlock in the process.6. Press the start/stop button and remove the newly-purchased and programmed fob from the backup slot.It took me a couple of tries before it worked. I think the failed attempts had to do with fob orientation. When programming was successful, all three fobs were placed into the backup slot in exactly the same way:1. Right-side up (removable key on top)2. push buttons facing forward (toward the front of the vehicle).

Exercise Caution
Looks good, but the remote features do not work. It will work when placed in the key well. So if all else fails, it will get you home. Apparently, Ford has three different key versions for the 2024 F150s, depending on the trim pkg, and no obvious way to identify which you need. Purchase at your own risk.

Things to keep in mind
Bought this for my 2023 F-150 and it works well. Only complaint is that the light indicator does not give you the feeback flashing green or red light to indicate if the vehicle successfully remote started or not, like the OEM ones do. Something to also keep in mind that I didn't know until trying to program it - you must have both OEM key fobs to program a new one. This is a security feature by Ford. So if you only have one, you will have to get a professional locksmith to program a second. And not all locksmiths will let you provide your own key fob. I managed to find one that would program this one and although they make no promises that it would work, every worked fine. Overall I'm happy with this as a backup.

Great so far. Go to the dealership tho!
As many other truck owners, I was skeptical about the wireless fobs working properly with our truck. But, I decided that the price was worth the risk. I priced the replacement key at the Ford dealership and it was over $300 plus programming. So I decided to give this one a shot. There are some instructions on how to do it on the packaging, but I wanted the sure thing, so I went to the dealership shop. The guys plugged in the computer and synced the key in like 15 mins. So far all the buttons function properly and starts my truck properly.I'll exclusively use this key for the next few months and will update my review if any issues arise.I own an F150 2020 Platinum trim. Save yourself some time, the slot to program the key is under the front cupholder, just remove the cover.

Works like the original
Bought this as a backup after I bought my used 2017 F350 which only came with one key fob. It looks just like the original minus the Ford emblem on the back and is well made. The locksmith made me a little nervous when he said some of these aftermarket key fobs are junk but he programmed it with ease and it is fully functional. Supremely happy with it and would buy again/recommend!

Battery Replacement
The fob arrived with no documentation, nor web address to get information. I wanted to check the battery type, but a retaining clip holds it in place and you can’t take the battery out like the instructions for a Ford fob show. Should have read all the reviews. One review pointed this out and would have saved me a lot of frustration. Ended up damaging the retainer clip. Should spent more and gotten the part from ford.

works as it should, other than battery has same characteristics with range and features
works as it should, seems like has the same range as my OEM key fob, being smart key fob and losing my old key fob I had to take it to Ford Dealer to program it, but once you have 2 working keys you can program it yourself very quickly

As good as OEM
Needed a spare key. Was skeptical if these would program or even hold up but they are just as good as OEM. Can program yourself if you have two other keys. If you don't have two other keys (like me), the dealer was able to program this key.
