Miracle Coat QuickFinder® for Cats and Small Animals

QuickFinder® for Cats and small-animals I bought these with the intention of using them on my bunny, Boobers. He is 3.5 pounds of pure Netherland Dwarf beauty. Anyhoo...point being he has very small paws with even smaller toes lending themselves to even smaller nails. The QuickFinder® had an impossible time detecting and managing his safety although we got through it just find not relying on the electronic display.However, fast forward a week to my mother's new Shih-tzu puppy, Princess (a.k.a. 'Tweak') and her rather fine nails digging holes into everyone while she greeted or played. So, I went to my bunny gear-box and let her try the QuickFinder® and it worked brilliantly on the puppy.Introspective Result:I remember my mother giving me haircuts. Her hand/eye coordination sucks!!!! It felt so old-world in relation to a blood-letting by the town barber, HAHAHAHAHA.She has since managed with the puppy a number of times without incident or injury. If sacrificing my QuickFinder® will ease the burden on her pups while she insists upon doing the grooming herself it's one I was ready to make. I will be buying her one for the adult dogs in her life next ;)

The sensor is very accurate. This would work well for small dogs. It is difficult to spread cat toes wide enough across the metal plate to fit into the cutting orifice.

The concept of these is fantastic and they do cut very well. The issues that I have with them is it takes way too long to get them to identify where to cut and they are not very accurate with the cutting sensor. I would not recommend using these unless your pet is unconscious which is something that I would never put my dog or cats through to cut their nails.

I was not as pleased with this as I thought I would be. It was not as easy to use as I would have liked. I have gone back to my regular clippers/

I bought this item because it said for cats and small animals. I figured since cat claws are rather small that it would work for my chihuahua. It's WAY too big for a cat or a chihuahua. This is NOT for small animals. I asked to return the item (unopened) and was told it would be a 50% RESTOCK FEE!! PLUS FREIGHT BACK. When I complained, here's the statement I got back. "sorry you are not happy-but others should know what type of animal you have and how the small is too big-etc." What the heck does THAT mean? I will NOT buy from this supplier again.

can't get my cat to sit straight or still enough to get this completed, so the product is great just having issues getting to use it :)

This little item does not really work well. Using nail clippers works far better. A this was a waste of money. :(

Did not work. tried it on on 3 different small dogs with different length nails and didn't work. Sent it back

Yet another garbage product from yet another company that doesn't understand basic design, or user experience.From the lethal, sealed plastic packaging that wants to slice your hands,..........to the utterly stupid, tiny, battery compartment that is simply unnecessary. If that wasn't bad enough, this product DOES NOT even perform it's one and only task. It's supposed to have a little red light that turns green when it's safe to cut the nail. Instead the red light turns green and then remains green even when IT'S NOT SAFE TO CUT. For each nail, you have to turn the thing off to reset it.........it's incredibly dumb.I tried one cut with my dog, and it sounded like a loud knock as the handles came together. Enough to scare your pet.This company should be ashamed of themselves for failing in every possible department...........and they wan't you to use it on your pets!!!Not only avoid this product, but I suggest boycotting this idiot company!!!!!!

Tres mauvais produit, me fonctionne pas, tres difficile de place la griffe à la bonne place. La position n'est pas normale pour couper les griffes. Tres cher pour rien.

Works well on small dog.

i am very pleased for this item have not had chance to use it yet, was a bit long in getting them to me but i am shore it worth the wait
