Rockville dB16 8000W Peak/2000W RMS Mono 2 Ohm Car Audio Amplifier

Great Amp! I've been abusing this thing for 5 years on 2-12" k9 d2 subs in a built to spec ported box!!!

Rockville amplifiers are the by far the worst amplifiers you can buy. I outfitted my entire system with Rockville products. Total of five amplifiers eight interior speakers and two 12” Punisher subs. The only piece that survived was the Punisher subs. All of the amplifiers are rebranded Chinese junk. The DB16 was so distorted and dirty sound. Please don’t waste your hard earned money on products that don’t produce or perform as advertised. I have been installing and experimenting with car audio since 1992. I will say this, I really wanted Rockville to be a great product and I wanted to represent a newer car audio brand. But the product was not even second class, it was down right garbage. Know wonder why they sell Kicker and other brands in their store, because they have to promote some sort of reliable brand. I have replaced every single Rockville product from my car except the Punisher subs. You don’t have to believe me, but you have been warned!!

Perfect system! And i lucked up wit a great install. Out performed expectations already. Capacitor iz excellent!! Not one break in the action, no system shut offs or stand by ever. Been Rocking for two months straight!!! LOUD! Actually out lasted all my homies systems i seen growing up. And their over priced and hyped name brands blew everytime over and over again... Waste of money. Thank u ROCKVILLE for the first system equipment i ever seen be exactly wut wuz expected. #QUALITY

I give a 4.5! This amplifier has helped me get 20+ noise complaints, 1 ticket, and a court date by its self! This amplifier requires a lot of power, so I wouldn't put it into a vehicle with little electrical upgrades. If you want an amp that gonna bump and annoy your town this is it! Definitely recommend

I've been running this setup about 3 weeks with this amp. So far no issues, doesn't get hot. sub hits hard rather I'm watching a movie in my car or actually playing music. Will update in a month or so if anything goes wrong with continued use.

This is a amp that states the TRUE RMS not max or wishful thinking like many others. I have it pushing two 1500 watt rms 15" subs @ 1ohm. I have the gain half way up! This is the 8000 Watt Max @ 2000 Watt RMS amp. Good Buy Stop reading this and click buy lol

this is a 2000 watt rms amp at a full input of 14.4v, you'll lucky if you get 1500rms out of it without spending another 1000 dollars in batteries and charging system components,your alternator can typically do around 100 amps anything more than this and your using battery voltage which degrades very quickly, this amp can pull over 170 amps of current at this current your running battery voltage around 12.6 to 11.5 volts if you have a good battery. even with a 120A alternator ive seen 10.8 at the inputs of my amp running a 2awg wire about 10'. im giving it 3 stars because the rms rating should be the true output of its capability at 14.4v. ces and rms should be a very close to the same measurement rockville clams that top brands use ces for their rating. well they list their RMS as there true output power, not ces. or they may say. 2000watts rms (ces 2006) but they dont say 4000 watts rms 2000 cea rated.im alright with you putting a "max power" on it, but i dont think 8000 max is even close to acceptable 4000 max may even be pushing it for a max rating. if you want to see how amps are supposed to be rated for output look up amp dynos. they also do the smaller version of this amp and every time its actual rms is the lowest wattage of the ces rating on this amp. the db16 is also dynoed at 1700 watts at a slightly higher then typical voltage. the good this amp does 1500-2000 watts for 230 bucks and does have nice adjustments. however i think that if you look around youll find higher than 2kw at this price point.

Solid power output, high power, true RMS rating I love this amp.

Hooked these bad boys up to 4 "8 inch" subs. The sound is clean and the power is amazing. For the price point of these amps I truly believe is the best bang for your buck. I would buy these amps for all my stereo needs in the future.

Watched a YouTube video where they dyno this amp for actual output. 1750w rms At 2 ohm. Perfect amp for powering my two 12’s. Was on the market for a 1500w-2000w amp. Couldn’t find anything with this value. Definitely a gem.

Piece of crap didn't work from day I got installed 35 days after I bought it manufacturer won't cover one year warranty sellers on Amazon are not authorized dealers , Amazon won't cover warranty.and seller won't cover warranty. So don't buy this 500$ paper weight

This is a good amp no problem yet more then I know power to move my Subs
