## Description

The Apera Instruments AI1114 pH calibration buffer solution Kit includes two 16oz bottles of pH buffer solutions (pH 4.00 & pH 7.00); plus Aprea's unique Callbox for easy organization of all buffer solutions. Say Goodbye to all the mess when performing calibrations. The color-coded buffer solutions are standardized against NIST certified pH References within 0.01 pH at 25˚C (77˚F). it’s ideal for the calibration of all types of pH meters. Since pH level is affected by temperature, a temperature/pH reference Chart is provided on the bottle label for reference. All the solutions are double-sealed, not subject to the DOT shipping restrictions; have a 1-year shelf life. Expiration date is printed on the bottle. MSDS documents are downloadable. Note: store at room temperature and away from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. Keep out of REACH of children.

Review: Bought mostly for the CalPod - I bought this kit of the 4 cal, 7 cal, and CalPod mostly for the CalPod. I like that calibration solution can be added for use that can then be sealed off to keep for a short period of time as well as be a nice modular solution holder to make calibration easier. I looked around to just buy the CalPod, which I could only find for ~20 at the cheapest. So, I bought the kit to get some calibration solution and the pod. It comes with some little labels for more than just pH, which is nice because I also wanted to do some EC calibration.

**Q: What is the life span of the solution .  Does it have an expiration date?**
A: The lifespan of unopened pH buffer solutions (new batches) is two years, one year for the older batches. All of our solutions have expiration dates on the bottles.

**Q: Do the buffers and storage solutions have a mold inhibitor?**
A: no, I don't think it's have mold inhibitors

**Q: Does this come with storage solution?**
A: Yes a 4oz bottle of kci storage solution. It's in the pic and description.

I like that calibration solution can be added for use that can then be sealed off to keep for a short period of time as well as be a nice modular solution holder to make calibration easier. I bought this particular calibration solution because I have an Apera probe, I'm not really sure it makes a difference who's solution you use but I'll say....I'm glad I did. The quad holder was not something I knew I was getting with this "kit" but how much more convenient could it possibly be?? It also works perfect for the TDS probe, everything I need in one nice little tray!!!
