Perfect for rug tufting

I’m just getting into rug tufting and everyone recommends this carpet adhesive for securing the yarns on the back of your rug. My local Home Depot was out of stock of this adhesive so I was glad to find it on Amazon. It arrived without any damage to the container.The adhesive is easy to scoop out of the container. I used a small scraping tool I have for painting to scoop out the adhesive and spread it on the backs of my finished rugs. It goes on smoothly and it didn’t smell too bad. I barely noticed the smell so that was a big plus!I left the adhesive to dry for a day. It is still a bit tacky once “dried” but that was helpful when it came to folding back the edges of the tufting cloth since the still-sticky adhesive held the cloth in place as I secured it more permanently with the glue gun. The yarns were very securely held by the adhesive so I’m happy with this product.You will use a lot of this adhesive for your tufted rugs, so a big container of this stuff will be handy.I liked that the finished rug is still soft and pliable, not stiff like some other adhesives. I recommend this adhesive for your rug tufting projects.

We purchased this carpet adhesive for our tufted rug projects. Very durable, served it's purpose. Kind of tacky after it has dried.

Slow set up time. Once it set up worked great. Would recommend contact cement or 3m spray adhesive over this

I bought this product as a mistake to be honest, I was looking for carpet adhesive for a new project I started. And I have to tell you was really surprised it has held my carpet together with no problem. It did take about 24 hour to dry, but if you place a fan in front of it you will spend less time.I want to be as transparent as possible, it’s really sticky, after it dries it’s really really tacky, doesn’t leave your hand sticker but it’s really tacky, so please be really careful not to put it on the wall or hardwood floors. I hope you find the product as good as I have.

Good adhesive, suitable for tufting. The scent is a bit strong so it’s best to use this outdoors

I use this carpet adhesive to cement the back of my tufted rugs. It does have a distinct smell that some people don’t prefer and consider a strong scent, but it doesn’t bother me at all. It stays tacky long enough for me to put rug backing on without spray adhesive however if you set glued project outside in the sun (only time I’m thankful for Texas heat) it dries rather fast. It keeps all my yarn strands together and makes for a very durable rug. I ordered the small tub first and immediately realized I need the big tub on a more frequent basis.

Tardó como una semana en llegar, pero cuando llego todo bien, en buen estado y funciona exclente, lo único que avisaría es que usen mascarilla al ocuparlo, tiene un fuerte olor y no se recomienda su uso en espacios cerrados. Tarda en secar como dos días pero ya seco mantiene su flexibilidad y pega bastante bien.

No me gusta su olor pero te acostumbras. Basta con usar un filtro. Pero funciona de maravilla

Lo utilice para sustituir material de anclaje de alfombra peluda. Buen resultado

El producto está bien, él único problema es que al empacar el bote el pegamento se estaba saliendo, deberían poner más cuidado a la hora de empacar los productos para su entrega
